Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Beginning as a psychiatric freak show, "6 Souls" eventually trades serial-killer intimations for backwoods bad mojo before becoming just another dimly lighted pop-up-stalker flick. – Nicolas Rapold, New York Times, Apr 5, 2013

Rotten: Unfortunately, no one here is especially sympathetic, and the shock both parents seem to feel on discovering their kid is a grade-A brat is hard to believe, given the general sense of verisimilitude. – Jay Weissberg, Variety, Apr 1, 2013

Rotten: "6 Souls" is regrettably sick with that familiar disease afflicting movies of this ilk: ostentatious, hollow moodiness that spreads like an unwelcome rash. – Robert Abele, Los Angeles Times, Apr 5, 2013

Rotten: Psychology-themed horror tale goes a little nutty in the end. – John DeFore, Hollywood Reporter, Apr 5, 2013

Two Thumbs Up

I was not expecting much. But I thought it was a well directed and acted thriller.
The fact that it was released 2 years ago in Europe but is now on iTunes for 10 bucks as a "New Release In Theatre's" is unfortunate as it looks as though iTunes is pulling fast one.
But honestly, it was worth the $9.99 anyway.
Liked it.

Pretty solid

If you like movies about crazy people this one will keep you entertained.

Pretty good.

This was a pretty good movie. Better than most horror movies coming out of Hollywood. And the ending was better than most. Rotten Tomatoes really shouldn't be allowed to rate Horror/Thriller movies. This one should have at least gotten like a 80% in my opinion. I liked this better than Sinister.
