Audience Reviews for Ike: Countdown to D-Day

A very well done depiction of the events leading up to D-Day, headlined by one of the strongest performances of Tom Selleck's career. The film manages to convey the sense of stakes and tension throughout every scene, a testament to both the acting and the writing. There's no action scenes to be had, it's not that type of war movie, instead it conveys the complexities of the war through dialogue and the fascinating, yet precarious, dynamics of all the commanders involved.
