In this film, rebellious teen-aged Aidan Quinn pursues an "impossible" romance with Daryl Hannah, a girl from a wealthy, highly respected family. Hannah is thrilled at the prospect of kicking over the traces with Quinn and soon proves to be as big a hellraiser as he is, if not more so.

Foley's feature debut treads the familiar turf of defiant teenagers, basically a compilation of contrivances and cliches lifted out The Wild One (Brando), Rebel Without Cause (James Dean), and most recently, All the Right Moves (Tom Cruise).

I really had to suspend my belief to go along with the idea that Daryl Hannah and Aiden Quinn were high school kids, but once I was able to do that, they were able to convince me of their romance.
A very excellent film about teen rebellion. Aidan Quinn stars as a football player who falls for Daryl Hannah. The movie has a great soundtrack. THis classic 1984 film is awesome.
