Audience Reviews for The Marine 4: Moving Target

It's awful.

It should end there. But it didn't.

There was not dialogue to another character until past six minutes into the movies. The credits start at the beginning (which means this movie will be terrible so let's front load the credits because we KNOW you ain't sticking around until the end). The credits were a mix match of people's name and random military sayings. After the credits, we get computers talking to each other. That's what it is. Just two computers.

Then Miz in his underwear. No one asked for that. Miz just stands around looking like a dope the whole time. He also doesn't seem to be that competent.

The assignment, which Miz wasn't really sure of even though he had a dossier with the assignment, was to protect this girl because she has some dirt on some company. The movie made it very clear that she is some very holier than thou, liberal thinking, organic eating, 135 IQ having bitch. And that clashes with the Miz's no nonsense having, stupid grin having, little thing called 9/11 doing character. It's horrible.

None of the plot makes sense. I understand it's an action movie, but at least every action movie has a clear good guy / bad guy. All I got was that some organization was out there to kill the girl. I don't know much about them. Something about South Africa. And apparently they don't even work for the company that she has the dirt on. And the dirt she has on the company is stupid. They made faulty body armor that apparently caused a bunch of deaths, and this was the dirt that would get them all incarcerated. Something.

There are four scenes in this movie. Really. There are just long shootouts. Double crosses. Double double crosses. The girl crosses the Miz. The Miz trusts her. She double crosses him again. The people who gave the Miz the assignment to watch the girl DOUBLE crosses him. There is 2 mins of plot backstory and all these double crosses are meaningless.

The movie is just muzzle flashes, incoherent screaming, double crosses, people dying in stupid ways and Miz conquering via Deus Ex Machina.

Skip. It's bad, but not fun bad. Just bad bad.
