Editorial Reviews

Review

The Trapped in Hitler’s Hell film is brilliantly done and is a gripping personal account of confronting and surviving one of the greatest evil series of attacks that history has recorded. The coordination between the monologue and the film clips was a touch of cinematic expertise seldom seen. There were no special effects to dehumanize the work. The moving recollections were enough to carry the drama right to the heart of the viewer starting with me. I trust the book and film will be like an emotional hypodermic needle for America to awaken to the fact that the present leadership has placed the Western public on the cusp of the whole thing being repeated!

This book is incredible on so many levels that I hope my review does it justice. I wanted to read a book about the Holocaust told from a Christian point of view. Anita is a Christian Jew experiencing all of horrors of WW2. Her faith kept her during these terrible times. She shared Jesus with many others. The book is not just about the Holocaust, though. It's about learning to trust God and give Him every aspect of your life. Anita entrusted things to God, and he sustained her. An encouraging read. I would recommend it to everybody.

I read this while visiting Berlin on vacation. Hard to believe that this isn't fiction. We all need to remember how this happened so we can make sure it never happens again. Hearing how God works with and through His faithful followers is revealing.

Once you start reading, you won't put it down. The Lord had a plan for her and stood by her every step of the way.

This book was very inspirational. If you think you have it bad what you are going through is nothing compared to what Anita suffered. Her faith and trust in God was unshakable. A good lesson for everyone. I don't have it so bad after all!

I can't imagine going through what Anita and her friends and family had to endure. Always makes you wonder since the prince of this world is still at work, if such evil could befall us closer to the US. I realize others around the world deal with such atrocities all the time, they are just more localized and thus not as newsworthy. Interesting to hear from a Jewish believer's viewpoint. I would like to know more of her life after the war.

What a fascinating, eye-opening, heart-rending story of a young girl's ordeal in Nazi Germany prior to and during WWII. It is also a remarkable story of her sustaining faith in God and His Son, Jesus Christ, that carried her thru this horrific time in her life and in our world. A heart-stopping, inspirational personal account of one individual's journey thru Hitler's Hell. You won't want to put it down.

"Trapped in Hitler's Hell" is a marvelous story about the sustaining power of God. It shows how a person can get through anything with faith in God and His Son Jesus Christ. I am not an avid reader, but from the time I began reading this book, I didn't want to put it down. It is so interesting and inspiring, I would recommend it to anyone. It will increase your faith. It's a must read!

God's gracious providential care shines throughout this remarkable story of a young girl maturing in a truly frightening, Nazi-corrupted society. And it comes to a thrilling conclusion which I'll not divulge lest I ruin your own joy-filled discoveries.
