I saw Mz. Wild and her book advertised on Facebook and I checked it out. Quite expensive at $9.99 but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. 'Hardwired' started off a bit slow and in fact I didn't think Blake had that much alpha fire. Boy was I wrong. The story picked up and so did the plot. Engaging, hawt sex and a twisted plot that I am still trying to figure out leaves me forgetting the ridiculous price of $9.99 I paid for the initial book in this series, but yes, I do want more.
I like Erica - she's no push over and she is aware of her issues and she's a go getter.
The story does pick up after the first 35 pages with supporting characters also keeping the story moving. There is also a nice surprise in the fact that 'Hardwired' presents diversity in its story characters - hallelujah!!!
I like how Erica uses her own resources not just relying upon Blake's.
HOW WILL THIS SERIES BE SUCCESSFUL? I pray Mz. Wild doesn't wait too long to drop book 2 and I sincerely hope its less than $9.99. For readers who are wondering or are desensitized by 50 Shades - I can personally inform you - this isn't that kind of story. Now, go get it!

Slow to start but that how all great books should be. I'm half way through the 2nd and love the series. By far better written and story then 50 shades. A must read if you are into these kinds of books.

I love this book & can't wait to continue the series. I love Blake Lander. This book is hot but it also has a good plot to the series. If you like 50 shades you will like this series as well.
Blake is a CEO of different companies and he wants to help out Erica when she is starting her own business for over a year and recently graduated from College and trying to get her business growing even more.
Erica believes Blake wants nothing to do with her and he won't invest in her company. She doesn't realize that Blake wants to help her succeed and would do anything for her.
Blake & Erica work on their relationship and Erica slowly starts to trust Blake...The scenes in this book are HOTT!!!!
