I've always loved whatever Lang Leav posted on Tumblr. Whether it'd be original or from someone else, it was always pleasing to read and I could always relate. When I heard the news about this book, I was extremely thrilled. The thought of having the works of an incredible poet and artist in this form was unreal. After what seemed to feel like years, the book finally came in the mail. And might I say, the wait was terribly long. I think that's the only con of purchasing it through the mail. It's worth it though. The poems are short and sweet and my favorite were of the short stories sprinkled throughout the book (if that's what they're called). I absolutely love this book. I hope I don't come off as wacko, but it's really great. Go treat yourself and purchase this, ya won't regret it :)

This book is simple, yet brilliant and beautiful. It's charming, cute, sad, and sweet. Some of the verses hit home, and are very relatable. I must have bunny eared at least 10 favorites. The first part is "Misadventure" - quirky and offbeat. The second part (and my favorite), is "The Circus of Sorrows". Anyone who's ever been through heartbreak can relate to this section. And lastly, part three - "Love" is uplifting. It reminds us of what we have, or what we have to look forward to. Lang Leav is truly an artist of all sorts. Excellent, simple book to read. Highly recommend.

Each and every page flowed seamlessly together. I was never left with a moment of question or 'Where did this even come from?' Every poem was different but had a common thread. They are all short, simple and to the point but spoke volumes to my heart and soul. I was able to connect with a majority of your poems and I was left with a feeling of nostalgia. Especially with the poems talking about longing and being just friends. Missing how things used to be and needing to let go and move on. Like I said, very relatable.
My favorite thing about the whole book would have to be your little stories, especially Angels. I've said the same thing to the man I used to love, how he had a light that I could see but he couldn't. And I suppose his halo lifted and it was his time to go.
I will carry this around with me for weeks, reading it on the train or during some down time in a park. I will annotate and wear out the book until I've left my own mark on it. So thank you again for being so talented and sharing your gift with everyone. I am an inspiring writer, and hope that one day I can accomplish what you have.

I have been in love with Lang's poems for ages on tumblr, and waiting for her book was like torture but, it was so worth it! Nothing beats having them in your hands. Her poems resonate with you on a deep level and sometimes it's just a few words and sometimes it's a lot of words--but the impact is the same. They're perfect. Some of my favorites aren't in here but that's okay because I saved them and print them out anyway lol. I can't wait to continue reading them! I'm so happy for her that she was able to publish her book- it must feel amazing.
<3 these poems, her art is beautiful and different as well, so that's is a bonus to see!
