I've read many books by Karen McQuestion, and am an avid fan of her work. I usually don't read 'love stories', but I won this book through a Facebook post and knowing her previous workings were great, I gave it a go.

On to the review:

The story was very fleshed out, from the widow to the divorcee, the characters were brilliant. I loved the fact that they are so close the entire time. Without giving anything else away, I'll end with this: This story is a very emotional one, and one that I am already recommending to all of my friends, guys and gals alike.

Hello Love is an amazing very well written story and I found myself going through many emotions which were tears running down my cheeks, gasping at times, smiling , giggling , got angry with one character who I wanted to give a few karate kicks too, I cheered for characters, I cried a few times, I had indignation for a few evil cruel characters, felt a lot of courage and determination by a character, felt anticipation, hope and respect and held my breath at times. There were twists, turns and action . Karen's characters are fictional yet she writes like they are non-fictional and I am sure a lot of readers will say " gee that character or characters are people I have come across during my life". The good characters and the bad characters.

I loved Love and she is such a loving, special, smart companion. I have had dogs for many many decades since I was a small child and I can't imagine my life without one.

Kudos Karen McQuestion for being able to bring out so many of the emotions I went through while reading Hello Love , that doesn't happen often for me.:>)

I have read and highly recommend all of Karen's books.

I've been reading a lot of sci-fi's so I was ready for something different and I know you can never go wrong reading about dogs. The title caught my attention and upon reading a sample I was hooked. A lovely, well written story with a wonderful ending. A really feel good story and if you have been lucky enough to have a dog or have had a dog then you will understand how wonderful they are and can relate to this story. I haven't heard of Karen McQuestion but now after reading this I will definitely look at her other stories she has written.

It was SOOOOO nice to read a nice, relaxing, enjoyable book & not have to worry about graphic sex or crude & disgusting language. Well put together. Thank you for writing this one & I look forward to more.

This review for "Hello Love" by author Karen McQuestion was a hard one to write. A lot of good in this book, but also so much that I find troubling. More than a year after his wife Christine's death, Dan is still trying to cope with his loss. He and his daughter, Lindsay, have each other and their little dog, Anni, for support and comfort. One day, Anni is stolen from in front of their house by a bunch of rough punks--"frat boys". As the weeks go by, Lindsay continues a hopeful search, but Dan begins to despair of ever seeing their beloved Anni again. Meanwhile, Andrea, an office manager for a property owner, has to contact a tenant about a complaint, and she discovers a mistreated dog chained on a balcony outside in the cold. Going with her heart's instinct, she rescues the poor dog and takes her home. Andrea has been suffering the lingering effects of a painful divorce, and the sweet-natured dog, whose collar says "Anni", becomes a welcome companion. Dan and Andrea casually begin to cross paths without realizing that they have a mutual furry friend--Anni. Fate seems determined to somehow bring Dan, Andrea, Lindsay, and Anni together. Dan and Lindsay even have visitations from Christine's spirit, who tries to guide them in the right direction. I found the main characters appealing, and the story was well-paced. However, the plot was propelled by the mishaps and mistreatment, either by carelessness or direct abuse, that befell dear little Anni. In particular, one event near the end of the book, in which the heroine makes a very poor choice considering all that has already occurred, left me shaking my head.Read more ›

This was an enjoyable read but frustrating. Our main characters don't even get to kiss. They don't even get to meet until the last few pages. But I'm a sucker for a dog story. I like my romance fiction rated at least PG (OK, really R). This story is definitely G.

You don't have to be a dog lover to enjoy this story, and although a little bit of predictability, this is a 'beautiful' story that grabs the reader's attention in chapter one, and keeps you there. The emotional story begins with a widow and his daughter, already hurting from the loss of a man's wife and a child's mother, become devastated when Anni is stolen from their yard. Anni is of course the type of dog who anyone can instantly fall in love with, just by looking at her.

While Dan and Lindsay suffer yet another loss, Andrea is recovering from the pain of divorce. Three people, filled with passion, suffer emotionally for different reasons, placing all of them in a dark and lonely world. How does their lives change, and can one dog shower their lives with happiness?

I have read the works of bestselling author Karen McQuestion in the past, and have never been disappointed. This heartwarming book is no exception for what this author is capable of creating. In fact, my expectations were fulfilled, and satisfied. This remarkable story touches the reader's heart and soul, is refreshing, and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
