As much as I liked the whole story this easily could have been 1 book instead of 3! This whole idea of spreading a story out over multiple books is nothing more than a money maker taking full advantage of the reader. Shame on you!

It's not a series. It's one book split into three sections. I don't mind series but I do not like these fake outs. This is almost as bad as the bs HM Ward's got going on. This story really was mediocre. I was disappointed. Shallow characters, ridiculous obstacles, anti-climactic...

"But if we make it through this together, we'll be stronger. If we make it through this alone, we'll just be better at being alone."
Books in the Surrender series should be read in order: Book 1: Forbidden Surrender Book 2: Secret Surrender Book 3: Beautiful Surrender
In Forbidden Surrender (book 1) wealth manager Kristen Daley pitched tattooed surfer turned self-made Billionaire Vincent Sorenson on letting her company invest his fortune. Kristen strived to maintain a professional relationship while Vincent zeroed in on seduction...
In Secret Surrender (book 2) Vincent and Kristen are working together while secretly embarking on a romantic and sexual relationship. Things are going smoothly... until they are not, followed by a huge cliffy!
In Beautiful Surrender (book 3) Kristen finds herself reminiscing about her past and trying to come to terms with what just landed on her door step. In addition Vincent and Kristen have some huge issues to sort out... Big trouble brewing... I will say no more as their story is best experienced!
HERO: Vincent Sorenson/31 years/$$$$/CEO Sandworks/dark blond hair/brown eyes/piercings, tattoos. Seven words to describe Vincent: Relentless, charming, noble, driven, thrill-seeker, reasonable and complex.
HEROINE: Kristen Daley/25 years/wealth manager/recent Harvard graduate/dark brown hair/brown eyes. I am happy to report that Kristen grew a bit of a backbone in this story. Seven words to describe Kristen: Smart, indecisive, stubborn, insecure, ambitious, predictable and endearing.
Overall an enjoyable series with a fast-paced and entertaining, albeit predictable plot! Interesting and charming alpha hero! A quick, sexy and feel-good read!Read more ›

Priscilla West has written the final installment of her latest series with the release of "Beautiful Surrender." Through the first two installments, the connection between Vincent and Kristen was palpable, with sparks flying everywhere. No doubt, this reader was ready to do some surfing! In true West style, the series continued a solid storyline to balance the smokin' chemistry between the characters. After the second installment, I was ready to beg for the "Beautiful Surrender" complimentary copy. It was the mother of all cliffhangers -- the kind that make you believe the rest of the story was just a page turn away. When the final installment was released, it took a bit for that momentum to build back up, which can be avoided when the story is released as one unit. What disappointed me was by the time I got to the last part of their story, the sparkle seemed to have been ripped away somehow. I can't quite put my finger on it except to say there was a distinct difference, almost as if West knew she was going to have to say goodbye to these characters, and wanted to make a clean break. West is certainly an author to keep an eye on, and she's got a home on my keeper shelf.

In book 2 we end with a uninvited visitor at Kristen's door. Between having her heart broken by the saucy text Vincent received from his ex and now this knock at the door, Kristen's night could not get any worse.
The final installment in the Surrender trilogy sees Kristen confront her past, decide if she can trust giving her heart away and make some life changing decisions.
True to Priscilla West style this quick read is jam packed with love, pain, hot sex, danger and scandal. Can Kristen truly move forward or is her past going keep her anchored...can Vincent redeem himself? Will they survive the danger that lurks in the shadows?
A fabulous conclusion that will keep you on the edge of your seat to the very last page! Grab you copy now, this is a series too good miss!

When Kristen Daley meets Vincent Sorensen, she certainly gets more than what she bargained for. Kristen is a financial analyst trying to secure Vincent, a billionaire entrepreneur, as the newest client for the firm she works for. It will be a huge step for her career. She has researched everything she can about him and his company. He is a tattooed surfer who turned his love of extreme sports into a billion dollar company. She could never have predicted the physical effect he would have on her. She is immediately attracted to him and she can tell he feels the same way. She is reluctant to get involved with him for personal as well as professional reasons. However her resistance will only last for so long. She has been hurt in the past and does not want to jeopardize her career for some man.
In a genre that certainly is being done more and more, Ms. West manages to keep things fresh, original and exciting. Yes, Vincent is wealthy and a bit of a bad boy, but his attitude is refreshing. He is not a complete dominant alpha male, nor does he feel the need to know Kristen’s every move. Yes he is protective and definitely pursues her hard but he is not overbearing or controlling. Kristen is also not our typical damsel in distress type either. Yes she does have a past that comes back to haunt her, but she is not helpless.
The chemistry between these two is hot hot hot! Kristen has an uncontrollable physical reaction to Vincent when he is around. He feels the same way about her. For a man who could clearly have any woman, this is absolutely about more than sex for him. The sex scenes are great and manage to not be repetitive. They spend a lot of time apart so when they are able to be together things get hot. Fast.Read more ›
