Night With A SEAL is a sweet, sexy novella that is a great beginning to a new series from Ms Johnson.
Jon is every girl's dream. Hot, sweet, sexy... did I mention HOT? But he is also a girl's worst nightmare, always on the ready for deployment with his SEAL team.
Ali has her rules - no one night stands and no military. I could totally understand her hesitance at starting anything with Jon, but boy the sexual tension and attraction between the pair is off the charts!!!
So after breaking all their rules, can Ali and Jon get the HEA?
Uh uh, you will have to read to find out!
Although we kind of know what happens with all the guys in the series - it is no secret, it is in this book!! - I am really looking forward to watching these big burly guys get brought to their knees by the women in the series.
Am looking forward to the next book, which will be Zane's story.

In this Novella we are introduced to Jon and his SEAL buddies.
Rick was the first one to leave the teams - due to a hurt knee. And the others are probably all slowly following him into civilian life. Zane, Chris, Brody etc.
In this first Novella Jon just met Alison - a friend of Rick's sister - at Rick's Fourth of July backyard BBQ.
She doesn't want anything to do with SEALs or with one-night-stands, but they can't keep their eyes off each other - their eyes and more....☺
They spend a few nice hours together but they decide to not keep in contact for the next six months - six months he'll have to spend in Afghanistan. They both try to deny that they felt much more for each other than you should normally feel for a one-night-stand.
Once Jon is back they feel a bit awkward towards each other and before they can start something, he's called away again - and then, Ali ends up in a very dangerous situation.
Jon can't legally help her - even though he's trained for exactly that!
Time for some new plans for his life - for his future!
WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO JON & ALI???
WILL THE TWO OF THEM GET THEIR HEA???
WILL THERE BE A CLIFFHANGER??

Another sexy one from Cat Johnson. Not much better than getting to read about a bunch of sexy Navy SEALs. This is a quick read that is bound to get you worked up. I was impressed that for a book this short we got a good amount of character development. Jon and Ali don't really talk much or learn that much about each other but you feel a real connection between the two of them. The end is a bit abrupt but we do get a HFN for them. I am really looking forward to seeing what comes next in this series. It's going to be fun following these men while they build a new future for themselves.

If you love a sexy, toned Alpha male in the military and a Seal at that, you can't go wrong with this story. Jon and his buddies are a team of Seals that have each others six in and out of combat. Jon thinks of having it all, career and relationship, but realizes that being called in on the spur of the moment and not knowing when or how long he can be away, a relationship probably isn't going to work. A one-night stand encounter with Ali and he can't get her off his mind,the feelings are the same for her as well. . Add into the mix the red tape and 'the good idea fairy' and Jon and some of his team are thinking about getting out and starting their own Security Company. I'm anxious to see in the upcoming stories how this will change the Seals and Jon And Ali's relationship. Even though this author is new for me, this was a wonderfully written story and I look foward to the upcoming ones in the Seal Series!

First book in the Hot SEALS series - Cat Johnson is an author who can pack a punch in the least amount of pages. In the 155 page story, Johnson introduces the main SEAL heros, some retired and some not, with this book belonging to Jon who is still on active duty. He meets Ali, the love interest, at a party, takes her to bed and leaves on deployment shortly thereafter. There was no resolution of any relationship before he left but he thinks of her constantly. The team returns from their overseas duties to discover that Ali, and retired SEAL Rick's sister, Darci, are being held as hostages in the bank where they work. The girls, and other hostages, are saved and because this is what Jon and his SEAL team do, Jon decides to retire and start a security business with his teammates using the skills they have learned in the Navy. Cat Johnson writes a believable love story, some scenarios quite nicely steamy, and leaves us wanting more stories of the team members. There isn't a lot of depth that can be plumbed in only 155 pages but she keeps the story moving and believable. Very satisfying read.
