Review

"I enjoyed how Tatiana was able to create very distinct voices for each of the characters. She was able to convey this books true humor, passion, and pain." ---Nice Girls Don't Read Naughty Books --This text refers to the Audio CD edition.

About the Author

K. Bromberg was born and raised in Southern California. She graduated from University of California at San Diego with two bachelors—economics and political science—but always loved to write. K. Bromberg remains in Southern California with her husband and their three young children. When not writing or working her day job, she can be found playing ninjas or power rangers with her son, fixing the hair of her oldest daughter’s American girl doll, or doing ‘arts and crapts’ with her youngest daughter, or listening to any or all of them fight/whine/laugh at once. When she needs a break from the daily chaos, you can almost always find her with Kindle in hand, devouring the pages of a good book or mentally outlining her next set of characters. Driven is K. Bromberg’s first published novel and the first book in “The Driven Trilogy.” --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

More About the Author

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author K. Bromberg is that reserved woman sitting in the corner who has you all fooled about the wild child inside of her--the one she lets out every time her fingertips touch the computer keyboard.

K. lives in Southern California with her husband and three children. When she needs a break from the daily chaos of her life, you can most likely find her on the treadmill or with Kindle in hand, devouring the pages of a good, saucy book.

On a whim, K. Bromberg decided to try her hand at this writing thing. Her debut novels, Driven, Fueled, and Crashed of The Driven Trilogy were well received and went on to become multi-platform bestsellers as well as landing on the New York Times and USA Today lists. Her other works include a short story, UnRaveled, and a companion piece to The Driven Trilogy titled Raced. She is currently working on two stand alones, Slow Burn and Sweet Ache, as well as an untitled novella to the Driven Series.

I kept putting off reading this book because I didn't want to have to wait for the next book in the series.

So I read another 4-5 star reviewed book and stopped reading it to reread this one.

I have been reading a lot of books lately and Driven just blew them all away! Talk about a book to end a reading rut! I am still reeling from this book ripping through my emotions and leaving me desperate for more of this story. K. Bromberg's Driven is more than a HOT cover, it is a beautiful story about two people who are trying to go through life without being buried in their own baggage. Colton and Rylee meet and sparks fly with intensity!

"I sag against the wall of the elevator in frustration. He gets me so worked up. So angry. I can't figure out what I want to do more, punch him or f*&^ him."

I love a story filled with angst, lots of heavy emotions and an almost desperate need the characters have for each other. Colton Donovan delivers all this and more. Colton. Damn. He is a hot, sexy race car driver with a dark past and ISSUES. He was adopted by Hollywood celebrities and found himself in racing. He is such a complicated character and just when you think he is going to change or do something expected, he completely surprises you and leaves you gutted and crying or sighing, wishing you were the girl he wants to be his.

Rylee isn't your typical do-gooder, she has a past full of tragedy and has let her guilt define her for far too long. She isn't Colton's "type", she doesn't do casual and she feels deeply. Rylee and Colton meet and it is instant attraction for her but she fights it HARD. She "thinks" she understands the type of man Colton is and she tries to stay away, but temptation is too much for her to resist and she dives in and realizes she is in over her head with this man. I love that Rylee is real, she has real expectations when getting involved with Colton, but sometimes the heart wants what the mind tells us is going to end badly.

I haven't wrote a review in a while but this book was awesome! Hot and steamy and the story between Colton and Rylee was unmistakably powerful! The connection between the two was so potent! Colton really has such a sensitive side that turns off like a light switch. No wonder Rylee's head is spinning. I almost feel like I can relate in some ways. I'm sure we all can, when it comes to being with a man who has troubles and can't commit. But he was so blatantly honest about his reasons. I really liked the style of writing and how the story plays out. There is so much more to learn about Colton's story that I can't wait until August book 2, Fueled! I encourage you all to read this one!

Simply amazing, it's packed with sensual tension, the constant banter between Colton and Riley is full of sexual innuendo that will make you blush, tickle you pink and get you hot and bothered. The worldly, handsome, millionaire car racer Colton Thomas relentlessly pursued the beautiful Riley Thomas, though smart but naive, didn't stand a chance when it comes to Colton's seduction. This man never gives up, knows his ways around and the quickest way to get in women's pants. Oozes with sex and charm, rolling in fame and dough, women just easily fall on his feet. That would have been great and exciting to be chased by a man like Colton Westin except he has his own demons. His past is so dark that haunts his dreams, so dark even he has great fear confronting it.

Riley Thomas is smart, softhearted and beautiful, also has her own demons caused by a traumatic tragedy in the past. As hard as she fought her attraction to Colton, she has deeply fallen. And therein lies the problem, she can't give him what he wants, he can't give her what she needs.

This story is captivating, has enough angst which make for a good story, it has romance, the dialogue between Colton and Riley is witty and playful and filled with sexual tension. Their sex scenes is hot and steamy and smokin! it's way up the top you'll get caught up in the heat between them.

This is impressive for a new writer, it's well written and has great substance, she ended it with a cliffhanger that's not anti-climatic but still make you looking forward to reading! the next book. Well done Ms. Bromberg!

Driven is fast, erotic, and edgy. This is a story that is pedal to the metal, full throttle, with nothing held back. From the beginning, you are caught in the game between Rylee and Donovan. The connection between the two is primal, passionate, and just plain HOT! You do not know if they are going to fight or rip each others close off! Rylee is smart, stubborn, feisty, independent, and full of snark! Donovan is gorgeous, swoonworthy, sarcastic, talented, and determined.

This story will entice you, arouse you, enrage you, and win you over. This is a must read that you will devour in one night!

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

I have been reading a lot of book's the past few months and Driven is just fantastic. K. Bromberg is an AWESOME new author. Once I started the book I did not put it down until it was finished. I read it in record time. The book had me laughing and then had me crying. My emotions were on a roller-coaster. I have read it twice and I enjoyed it the second time as much as the first. My only complaint is that I have to wait for Fueled.
