Kristen Proby has made a living as a massage therapist, a medical biller, a registrar in an Emergency Room, and a professional photographer. But what feeds her soul is writing romantic, erotic love stories about strong women who don’t necessarily need saving, and gorgeous, alpha-type men who want to save them anyway. Kristen lives in the amazing Pacific Northwest where, conveniently, her muse lives too.
Kristen is the author of the Amazon and USA Today bestselling With Me In Seattle series. She has a passion for a good love story and strong characters who are full of humor and a strong sense of loyalty and family. Her men are the alpha type; fiercely protective and a bit bossy, and her ladies are fun, strong, and not afraid to stand up for themselves.
Kristen spends her days with her muse in the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys coffee, chocolate and sunshine. And naps.
I was super excited to download and read Come Away With Me by Kristen Proby. I bought it the first day it came out and got right to reading. First off, how freakin' perfect is Luke? I think he gets the award for the "Perfect Guy Award". He cooks, rubs feet, has the stamina for sex multiple times a day, rich, famous, lives in a beautiful home on the beach, and has a wonderful family, oh and does the most romantic things EVER! Sometimes he was just too perfect... I just need some more drama for my romance novels but none the less he is like the perfect guy.
Natalie who claims she only had sex with guys, never a relationship sure fell fast and hard for Luke after meeting him. There is absolutely no build-up for these two before getting together which was disappointing because I prefer a big build-up which makes it more believable and fun to read. I will say the love scenes were very hot and steamy and will not disappoint you! Wowzers!
I found the book cute and very exciting to read with all the love making Luke and Natalie did but I just felt like the book was missing something. Maybe more of a storyline, there was really no big drama in the story and any possible drama was solved in a chapter. I also felt like every type of plot was all pulled together to create this story. Famous actor falling for a normal girl, rich and hot guy, orphan girl who has secrets of her own and thinks she is not pretty when she is absolutely gorgeous, and a few more I do not want to share give spoilers. I will say I really liked the authors writing style and am excited to read her next books which focus on other characters. I think this might be the first series I am looking forward to reading about other characters in the next book and not the main characters from book one.Read more ›

This book was so corny. I got to 47% on my kindle and had enough. I couldn't finish it. It had every cliche imaginable. It wasn't sexy, it was really goofy. There is lots of sex but not much else. But if that's your thing, then this is the book for you!

First off, I would like to say I love Kristen's writing style. Second, Luke (YUM, YUM!) is my new book boyfriend, did I mention that he is supper YUMMY! After reading this one, I can't wait for her other books. Explicit, yes, steamy, of course, but all existing inside a greater course of events that can only be described as Awsome. Like a good lover, this book is thoughtful, deliberate and profound. Come Away With Me is so well written, Luke and Natalie become your new best friends. You'll laugh with them cry with them and when Luke make his mistake, you want to be the bitchy best friend and slap him silly for Natalie, however because he is sooooo sexxy and hot, you can't resist him for long. The only thing I dread is the end of the book, can't wait for book #2. You have done an amazing job Mrs.Proby.

Story and characters had no substance. No real storyline. For lack of a storyline author filled void with multiple sex scenes. I don't know about others, but throwing in a bunch of sex scenes doesn't make up for the lack of a story. Male character was overly possesive, jealous, and quick to anger. Those traits would have a real woman running for the hills. Regret purchase of this book.

I'm only about halfway through the book and it's been a struggle to get to this point, the book is so terrible. There are so many things wrong with this book...mainly there is no real plot or substance! Don't waste your time or money...even if it's only $3. Why not?
1...Every other page is basically a sex scene and even those are meh. He carries her to bed, they have romantic "love making" and come unicorns and rainbows. Every. Five. Pages. 2...There's very little character development and for sure no substance in this book. 3...This book would NEVER happen. Even in fiction titles I like there to be a little plausibility in the writing. They meet and by day 2 he's utterly obsessed/possessive. By end of week they're madly in love??? They (as well as the reader suffering through each page) know nothing about each other!
I could go on but really this book doesn't deserve the effort to write a full review.

The With Me In Seattle Series by Kristen Proby has been on my list forever. I have heard such great things, and I must say, I was not disappointed. I read the entire book with a happy little grin on my face the whole time. It had everything I love in a book. Heart pounding melt-in-your mouth hero, a heroine that I loved immediately, humor, a ton of romance and lots and lots...and lots more, SEX. But not to the point where it felt like full-on lady porn at all. The romance was definitely the focus here, and it was basically angst-free.
"You are every fantasy I have ever had come true, Natalie... I'm almost afraid to touch you," he whispers. "Why?" I cock my head to the side, confused. "I'm afraid you're not real."
Come Away with Me (With Me in Seattle 1) by Kristen Proby is a happy little fairy tale. There isn't much meat to it, but Luke might be the most romantic guy I have ever read about. Plus he's hot and dominant in the bedroom. He makes every real man look bad. But that's OK, sometimes a sweet fairytale without all the angst is a nice change.
Natalie is a photographer, out very early one morning taking photos at the beach. Suddenly, she is confronted by a very angry, and very gorgeous guy who is insisting she give him her camera. She thinks she is being mugged because she doesn't recognize the sexy stranger from the huge hit vampire movies he starred in years before.
Luke is immediately intrigued by the curvy and beautiful Natalie, and he is so excited to meet someone who doesn't know who he is. He takes her out to breakfast to apologize, and the romance of Luke and Natalie begins.Read more ›
