Jessica N. Watkins was born April 1st in Chicago, Illinois. She obtained a Bachelors of Arts with Focus in Psychology from DePaul University and Masters of Applied Professional Studies with focus in Business Administration from the like institution. Working in Hospital Administration for the majority of her career, Watkins has also been an author of fiction literature since the young age of nine. Eventually she used writing as an outlet during her freshmen year of high school as a single parent: “In the third grade I entered a short story contest with a fiction tale of an apple tree that refused to grow despite the efforts of the darling main character. My writing evolved from apple trees to my seventh and eighth grade classmates paying me to read novels I wrote about kids our age living the lives our parents wouldn’t dare let us”. At the age of twenty-eight, Watkins’ chronicles have matured into steamy, humorous, and realistic tales of women’s fiction. She hopes that the Epitome of Femistry series will successfully emulate ideal femininity while tackling stereotypes, familiar heartache, and relatable distress in a humorous and sophisticated fashion. SOSB2 was very fast read for me. Not because there aren't enough pages, but because I sacrificed precious sleep to read through. I thought I knew what was going to happen, but I didn't.
I hate Simone. I can't understand how someone can be so green with envy. She is the epitome of a trollop and there's no amount of money, plastic surgery, or fellatio that can cover all that ugly within her. However, she is a part of all of us when we're not fully standing in our own confidence and power, we all have the potential to be consumed with ugly intentions and motives. The broad just wants to be loved - and wants to be The One - and just can't wrap her mind around how or why she can't be. (HINT: It starts with your standards, boo boo.)
I'd have loved to get inside Rae's head. I swear I know her from another book by this author; however, I'm not certain. Regardless of this, I would have liked to see from her POV... it would have helped really build the story between her, Gia and Chance. As for Chance... man... he reminds me of a young Black man lost. I am so in love with this one.
I'm so mad at this author.. she has the audacity to twist up everything we know about the characters and leave us dangling by a weak pinky from a cliff.

Yes she has done it again. Author Jessica N. Watkins is a mastermind. The events that have taken place in this second book is unreal. She knows how to keep her readers reading. When I finished this book my mind was like NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Simone is a different kind of character. The things she has pulled is just to shocking for words. I cant wait until the 3 book is written. I read this entire book in 4 hours. Couldn't put it down! Great read and definitely a page turner! Jessica Watkins did her thing once again. The ending left me with my mouth open and my mind racing. Can't wait for part three! This series and this book is a must read. It has just the right amount of ratchetness, murder, drugs, and sex! Great story line and amazing writing! Definitely a MUST READ!

that damn Simone is something else !! I can't believe how she reacted towards a BABY !! An innocent little baby ! I wanted to jump in those pages and strangle the life out of her just like she did Tammy in book one ! Haha ! Simone is that character that you hate so much but love to read about !!
Gia and Chance were adorable ! Acting like two star eyed teenagers ! They had their own drama thrown into the mix along with everything else that was already going on . loved Chance the most from part two .. He had his small appearances in book one but in glad Jessica Watkins have him his own portrayal of the story in this one . He is not a dumb character at all !! He figures out people and everything quick ! Especially Simone !! I was hoping he'd break her damn neck many times here !
