I've loved the Beautiful series up to this point. In this volume I found I grew tired of the multiple, lengthy flashbacks. I'm also gaining a strong annoyance at authors who include foreign phrases and full blown sentences without a translation. If they're too lazy to interpret for their audience then they should assume their audience will be equally lazy in not looking up said translation. Thus, whatever seemed important enough to write in French and include in the story was wasted on this reader.
And last, I assumed by the title that Chloe would be an all out bitch in the story. She had her moments, but not enough to warrant a book named as such.
The sum of the story: argue > sex > flashback > rinse > repeat. Near the end I was skimming. Sigh......
Sorry ladies. I love your writing and look forward to the next 2 books, but this one fell flat.

It's amazing how nice it feels to catch up with some loved characters. Bennett is a sexy and hot as ever and Chloe is just as strong willed. This books is fab and a nice little story to five us some more to what occurred between Beautiful Bastard and Beautiful Stranger.

When I read Beautiful Stranger I found myself wishing for the details of what had happened with Chloe and Bennett between books and this book did not disappoint. I loved how Chloe and Bennett relationship grew so much deeper but they never lost that raw passion that brought them together in the first place. Looking forward to the rest of the books in the series.

So I accidentally skipped over this book and went on to Beautiful Stranger, which was definitely not written as descriptively as Beautiful Bastard. This book could have been included in the first book. The majority of this book was recounting things that ALREADY SUPPOSEDLY HAPPENED and it never even described the actual trip to France. LAME. Definitely had to return it for a refund. Don't waste your money on Beautiful Stranger either. Blah.

I love this series. The relationship dynamic between Chloe and Bennett is unique. They make you laugh and fall in love with them.
This series is well written. There are no boring fills to the book, there is always something happening. The writing makes you feel like you know the characters on a personal level. I can't wait for the next book!
