do not like to be fooled into purchasing a re-publish. You should be required to list original publishing date. I don;t appreciate taking time to research publishing date and will not be buying any more books with correct publishing date.

Through four stories and two books I have ached for these three men, Ryan, Sean and Michael who were cruelly abandoned by their parents at very young ages and suffered their entire lives because of it, wondering why they were left behind. In the first book we met the oldest Ryan, a tavern owner and Sean a fireman, both in Boston. Then in book two Ryan and Sean find Michael, a Navy Seal who has been wounded and we see that all three men have walled off their hearts because for them love equates pain. Luckily three wonderful women fought to peal back the layers, touching their hearts and giving them lives worth living and the strength to seek out their younger twin brothers who were not left behind as they were.

Patrick and Daniel Devaney were twins and the best of friends until they stumbled upon a horrifying family secret: their beloved parents who had given them such a good life, had inexplicably abandoned three older brothers they didn't even know they had and the news tears their family apart. Patrick is appalled and refuses to have anything to do with his parents and Daniel feels badly, but can't abandon his parents and because of his stance, he and Patrick become estranged too. (Patrick's story is also in book two with Michael's)

This is one hurting family and as the last book, Daniel's Desire progresses, it becomes clear that we as readers will finally learn why Connor and Kathleen Devaney did such an unforgivable thing to their three oldest sons. I tried to come up with reasons that would be acceptable and help me to see these two people as anything other than callous monsters, but I couldn't come up with anything.

I loved this series. My only problem with the series is not one that should keep you from reading the books. As much as I loved all the characters, there were two that I couldn't like at all. I just could not like someone who did what those parents did. Thankfully very little of the series has them in it. I'll miss the Devaney's.

A very good book by this author. This is the final one in the series where 5 brothers are reunited with their parents and each other.

I had read some of the books from this series, so this was like a closure to it. The Devaneys brothers were separated as children and the three older brothers abandoned by their parents. To me what the parents did ,and how they did it was unforgivable. The story revolves around that, how it affected their lives and its final resolution and finally the family reuniting. The story was OK, with some sexual content and a bit of romance.
