Lots of hot, steamy, sexy, panty-dropping scenes and great dialogue as well as the sweetest "I Love You's".

I like how the other characters were intergrated into this book, with out it being to much about them.

I pretty much dropped everything to devour this story immediately. And that's exactly what happened.. I not only ate up every word, but licked the bowl too.

For those of you joining us from 'Beautiful Bastard', please note that this novel is NOT fanfiction derived in any way shape or form. While I enjoyed reading BB, I was looking forward to 'Beautiful Stranger' the most because it was original and gave me an insight to how Christina and Lauren wrote.

'Beautiful Stranger' follows the story of Sara, Chloe's friend who leaves Chicago behind for a new life in NYC. Upon her first days, she meets the intriguing Max Stella in a club and thus begins their hotter than hot rendezvous. Sara is a strong female character that is trying to mend her broken heart after her douche of an ex fiance slept around with the Chicago female population. Max is no stranger to Page Six, with being rumored to encompass the role of a playboy with NYC socialites and celebrities. The chemistry between these two is clearly there in the pages and you can't help but root for Max to help Sara mend her broken heart.

If you thought that 'Beautiful Bastard' had smuttilicious scenes, hold on to your panties because this story involves photo taking during their sexual escapades and numerous sex in public situations.

Joining us from 'Beautiful Bastard' are Chloe and Bennett, who make a few appearances here and there but the story mainly focuses on Sara and Max.

Overall, I was thrilled and pleasantly happy with how this novel turned out and hopefully they will continue with a third book, maybe surrounding Will (another friend of Bennett and Max).

Someone has advised this writing duo that their readers want a sex scene every ten or so pages. For a 376-page book, that's a lot of sex. Readers do not have to wait long, either. I just read "Beautiful Bastard" five weeks ago. I couldn't even remember who this book's main character, Sara, is from that first book. Before we are properly reacquainted, I am treated to a scene where Sara behaves in a decidedly unladylike way in a NYC dance club with the stranger in the title. If I were him (his name about 50 pages on is revealed to be Max), I would be once and done with this trollop. But that would make for an exceedingly short book.

This book seems too short for the price. Is it big margins? I am not sure how I read so many pages in so short a time. I was shocked when my e-reader told me I had read the last page. So that's my first issue with BS. My second is, for a relationship where the main topic of conversation is the participants' prior partners, and their main activity is waist down and naked, they sure do fall for each other in a hurry. Like, love struck and obsessive love. I am not convinced by it as a love match, as the ladies have written it. My third issue is: what's the rush with the storytelling? why is Max from Leeds (an odd locale)? why is his backstory that he is one of ten successful children in a Catholic family? Why is his mother in such well-preserved condition that she can work as a receptionist in his midtown NYC office, after launching ten children from the nest? None of these little nuggets gets explained or elaborated upon. We don't even get to meet the mother, hear words from her mouth, even though she is at center stage in one scene.

I am buying in to this franchise and I want to support these women writers.

So if you've read Beautiful Bastard, the first book in this series, you will have had a slight glimpse of Sara Dillon, the heroine of this love story. After a terrible public breakup, she has relocated from Chicago to work with her friends from the first book, Bennett and Chloe, who have started a sister office in NYC. Sara has decided to change up her predictable good girl status and be a little wild. Enter playboy extrordinaire, Max Stella, a successful venture capitalist. Of course, their chance meeting and tryst in a darkened corner of a club, can't be a one time crazy night for Sara as she had hoped. They both are in the finance world and as such, run in similar circles. Once Max figures out who she is, he won't let her disappear again and that's when the fun begins. Exhibitionism, voyerurism, and eventually, love will lead these two lovers down a road neither one expected.

5 Stars - I loved it!

I have been anxiously awaiting this book since reading 'Beautiful Bastard' and was even more excited about this one since it would not be derived from fanfiction and solely the writing of Christina and Lauren. So, I immediately dropped everything to devour it... and I was not disappointed!

The story starts with Sara leaving her cheating ex in Chicago and moving to New York to start over. She immediately meets Max Stella, the tall, gorgeous British playboy, at a bar. She is untrusting and does not want to be in any type of relationship, only sex in public places! Max has been happy being single, not meeting anyone that made him want to be in a relationship. Then he meets Sara who always keeps him at an arms distance and he is hooked! She is so guarded and will not let him in. The chemistry between them is so HOT! You root for Max all through the book and hope he somehow convinces Sara to let him in!

I am always sad when I find out that a series of books does not continue with the main two characters, so I was so pleased when Chloe and Bennett made some appearances in this book. Surprisingly, I like this one more than Beautiful Bastard!

Overall, I could not have been happier with this book. I loved the characters and I am still swooning over Max Stella, my new love (this week anyway and until my next great book). I am looking forward to anything and everything that Christina Lauren releases! They have a new fan!
