Kristen is the author of the Amazon and USA Today bestselling With Me In Seattle series. She has a passion for a good love story and strong characters who are full of humor and a strong sense of loyalty and family. Her men are the alpha type; fiercely protective and a bit bossy, and her ladies are fun, strong, and not afraid to stand up for themselves.
Kristen spends her days with her muse in the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys coffee, chocolate and sunshine. And naps.
Good story but the hints to Matt's character in the previous books had me believing this would be a much deeper character. It just didn't feel like there was much too him other than a bit of kink and a guy that definitely loves his family which is reminiscent of the other books. While the other books seemed to hold their own, this one could of used some more substance.
This book felt like it was rush to get it out.
Also, the author, has a favorite phrase "little thing" that is used throughout all of the books in the series. Whether it's "pretty little thing", "sassy little thing", etc. It could work for one character but when it's used so much throughout the series it's a bit annoying and takes away from the uniqueness of the personalities.
All that said, I enjoy this author but would prefer more substance in the remaining books in this series.

I have mixed feelings on this. I'm a fan of the series and had big expectations for Matt but ended up feeling a bit disappointed. The writing was solid, I enjoyed the banter between the supporting casts of characters, but the romance was just....plain ole' vanilla. Sure Matt gets a bit bossy and he likes to use his rope but I feel like this was BDSM-ultra lite. I was hoping for something a bit more edgy and sexy. This was cute and sweet with a very small dash of kink. Before I got to the middle of the book I was feeling a little bored and was hoping the bakery would get robbbed or a car bomb would go off or something to help move the story along. BOO! Overall, I'm giving this 3.5 stars. It's not what I wanted but it was a solid story and should work for those looking for a sweet comtemporary romance with very minimal kink and not a lot of action.

Holy smokes I love Matt and his kinkiness! This series is one of my many favs and was looking forward to Matt and Nicole story. I was a little disappointed though because I just wanted a little bit more. It kinda felt rushed in some sense. It just felt some things missing.
I loved Matt and Nic's connection though and how they first met was HOT! You get to know Matt in the previous stories but all you know really is that he is a cop and is very protective of his family. I loved all the emotions in this book and how people can love someone fiercely. Also, you get more glimpses of the rest of the clan and it just makes the story that much better!
Looking forward to Mark's story. He's been fun reading about in the previous stories.

Hmmmm let's see. I am a huge fan when it comes to this series and I was so excited for Matts story but it wasn't as good as the others.
I thought the story was good but could have been better. The reason they broke up was pretty lame. I felt that something better could have happened. Wanted to see more with the other characters too.
Overall, a good book. Looking forward to Mark's story.

This series is my favorite of ALL TIME but this book didn't really hit the mark for me. I'm going 3.5 stars. There was story line there to explore Nic's family and it didn't. I really like Matt and Nic as a couple but I think it could have been more deeply developed. It felt a little too rushed for me and the epilogue didn't really give me any closure. Do I recommend you to read it? Yes, it still pulls in a little more to the other characters story but just falls a tad short.

Have you met the Montgomery men? If not, you are definitely missing out. Tied With Me is book 6 in Kristen Proby's With Me In Seattle series. This is Matt and Nic's story. Matt is a super hot cop who has a dominant side. When he meets Nic at a festival, the mutual attraction is intense. After a bit of a rocky start, they are soon exploring the boundaries of their passion and falling headlong into a hot, steamy relationship that burns up the pages. Throw in the rest of the Montgomery clan and Tied With Me is one fabulous book. I was hooked from the beginning and pretty much read it in one sitting. It's a must read for sure!

Let me start this review by saying that I have read all of the With Me in Seattle books and loved each one. I have been looking forward to this book for months! I couldn't wait to read Matt's book, so I hate to give it a poor review, but I was very disappointed with the writing. I thought the writing was stilted, the story was boring, and although I wanted to care about Matt and Nic, I just couldn't. I really tried too. I kept hoping it would get better, but it did not. Matt did not act like a Dom, and Nic was not a likable character. She was whiny and weak. I was not impressed. This book lacked drama and the steamy factor. I think it could have been great, but it wasn't.

Loved this book, Matt has always been a great character, no one will ever take Will and Caleb's spot with me, but Matt is all Alpha! I love this series and can't wait for more!
