From Booklist

Steel’s two-part story of reincarnation and everlasting love will satisfy fans of gentle romance and women’s fiction. In the 1970s, famous fashion-show producer Jenny falls in love with lawyer Bill, and they marry, despite his family’s objections. Bill decides to attend divinity school, and they end up living in Wyoming after a church offers Bill a position. There tragedy strikes. In the second story, Amish Elizabeth takes care of her widowed father and brothers while secretly writing a book at night. Bob is an independent publisher looking for a winning read. They fall in love and struggle to be respectful of her father and Amish traditions while seeking to publish the book and be together. Could it be that Elizabeth and Bob are Jenny and Bill come back to life for a happier ending? This gentle, inspirational story is very different from Steel’s usual style, but her loyal readers will enjoy it just the same, as will anyone looking for a clever and sweetly dramatic romance. --Amy Alessio --This text refers to the Hardcover edition.

This was an easy read but had a great story line.

I loved the book but as I was reading because of the way it was written I thought they were short stories but it all came together at the end of the book.

I read the book in two days and could hardly put it down once I started reading it.

I have been reading Danielle Steel's books all my life, in the last few years I have learned to carefully pick and choose. Some of her stories have become redundant after a while. I am very glad I choose the right story this time. This novel is the reason I never give up on her and still remain a big fan. This was an excellent, emotional, romantic, story of soulmates in different times. The author's writing of this story was very reminiscent of the old Danielle Steel, that I grew up with. She wrote one of my favorite and most unforgetable story of all my time, "The Promise"........

With this novel, she weaves two separate, yet completely different love stories in one with the magical link, "love at first sight", "fate", and "reincarnation"...............

In 1975, the story of Jenny, and husband Bill, will show how much two people can really be in love with each other so much. They can complete each other's sentences, they each know what the other is thinking, how they selflessly sacrifice for their love, and sometimes souls are so intertwined together, that in tragedy, one can't breathe or live without the other..............

In 2013, the story of Bob and Lillibet, will show you that age difference, mutual respect for each other's beliefs, and coming from two completely, different cultural societies, that unconditional love can overcome anything. Add the belief of "reincarnation" of the two previous lost souls, and that was this couple's true destiny............

Wouldn't it be nice if we all could experience unconditional love, "until the end of time"! ( I fell in love with this novel, it's romantic phrase, and it definitely deserves 5 stars. )

Danielle Steel novels are always starkly hit or miss for me. After reading a couple of her books recently (Hotel V, 44 Charles St.) that were a big miss, I was reluctant to get Until The End Of Time. After all, someone who has been around as long as Danielle Steel and has been as prolific surely has to burn out eventually, right? But, I've been sick and looking for a good, easy read, because I can't stand looking at the TV anymore. So, I figured I'd give it a shot. And I'm so glad I did. I finished it in one and a half sittings and thoroughly enjoyed it, refusing to let a 103 fever keep me from finishing. The characters were likable, it was well paced, well written, and I'm happy to say Danielle Steel's still got it. It was a little sappy, yeah, but you should already know that getting into it. It's not like we're discussing Tolstoy here.

I've read a couple of people say that they think this might be Danielle Steel's last novel. I truly hope not. But if that's what she decides, she can be proud to end on such a high note.

Now if you'll excuse me, NyQuil and a long nap are calling.

I've read many Danielle Steel books, but its been awhile since I've enjoyed one as much as this one. I grew up in Lancaster County and although there were a couple of things that weren't exactly accurate for the Amish, most of it was accurate. Some of her latest books seemed very superficial and not about normal, average people, but this was a nice addition to her extensive catalog of stories.

I give this book a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

I have read all of Danielle Steel books and felt this was one of her best. I couldn't put it down. The problem with that is its tough to find another that will keep you as interested.

I like the way DS write, have read her books for years and year. Still have to say Wanderlust is one of my all time favorites, but most have a good plot, nicely fleshed out, and always a good easy read!

I will confess, the last few years of Danielle Steel's books have been for the most part, a huge disappointment to me. The stories were fluffy, over the top, repetitive, and bore no resemblance to the author I once thought could do no wrong. I found myself becoming enormously irritated with her for 'sleeping through the job.' But this book was her redemption in my eyes. The characters were well written & shared beautiful chemisty, and I loved the simple Amish love story told in the second half. Furthermore, I was enormously intrigued by the plot that tied together the two stories. I am very much a paranormal lover, and the notion of reincarnation is something that strikes a chord with me. She told the story very well. My only complaint is that it had to end. But it ended beautifully.
