Since I loved the hot and steamy book My Nights With Kate, amazon suggested I might like Play With Me by Kristen Proby. Kudos Amazon, you nailed it! I had been needing a break from all the good girl meets bad boy stuff and these two have been a very refreshing change of pace. I really enjoyed Kristen's writing style as it made for a fun and easy read. Megan was a little bit of a potty mouth which I liked, so no over-the-top flowery dialogue here!

In the beginning Megan was a little overly mean to Will, because he hadn't responded to her request to visit sick kids at the hospital where she was a nurse. After that whole situation gets ironed out, they go through a "teasing phase" which was fun to read about. The only thing that concerned me a little was that Will seemed a little overly controlling and jealous. I think this was just the author's way of keeping us guessing a little through out the story, because I kept wondering if he was going to snap at some point.

Just like with Jack and Kate, the sex scenes between Will and Megan were fun and amazing. They really seemed like a couple who were falling head over heels for each other and having a great time in and out of bed. Their banter, adventures and burgeoning love for each other kept me interested the whole way through. It was a fun and captivating read.

Congratulations Kristen on a great book!

I really liked the love story, and there were some funny points in the book as well as...well, let's be honest, kind of boring, repetitive points. But I want to discuss something that I haven't seen any other reviewer touch. It took me nearly the first quarter of the book to warm up to Will and consider him a proper hero for our heroine. When the two first got together I wanted her to dump his controlling, domineering (read: pre-abusive) butt.

**Spoiler Alert**
Installing a security system on her house when you've known each other two days? "But his point was proven when a crazy stalker groupie made a threat," you'll say. It's still controlling and manipulative when he kept giving her crap for not remembering to use the alarm. The worst point for me, however, was when he got angry and pouty and passive aggressive (read: manipulative) when she only mentioned Leo's name. Seriously? A) you've known her only a few days. B) You have no idea who this other guy is or whether or not he's even a challenge. C) Jealousy is okay in some context, I guess, but acting jealous when you have no right and emotionally punishing a woman you supposedly like while speeding your car unsafely down the highway because you're pissed is NOT okay. The entire time I was reading these early chapters in their relationship I was thinking the book would be ending in a VERY different way, i.e. he would go full-blown emotional, verbal, and physical abusive, she'd dump his butt and get with a nice, hot, sympathetic former-like-a-brother Leo.

WIll eventually won me over, so, in the end, it turned out okay. But, Ladies, if you're in the early stages of a relationship with a man who acts like that right off the bat, please have the confidence in your fabulous self to recognize the red flags.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. The romance/sex was a bit rushed...going from 0 (I would never, ever, date him) to 60 (I can't wait to go down on him in his car) in less than two dates felt contrived. I liked Will from the start...pretty basic male character (sexy, confident, protective, looking for more than a pretty face, popular, wealthy,etc.). Meg was barely tolerable the first half of the book....her cussing, alleged daddy issues, faux rocker style, quasi-dedication to nursing was supposed to give her character more depth than just a pretty face, but this too felt contrived. The women are portrayed as nothing more than sex fiends while the men simply adore them. I liked when Meg and Will were on vacation...the author seemed to develop the relationship and not just rely on the reader to accept that a relationship was inevitable because it's romantic fiction.

I stumbled on this series a few months ago and have been in love with it since. Will and Meg's story is no exception. It's sweet, beautiful, sexy, and a great way to revisit the other couples. Can't wait til the next book!

I read all the books in this series (so far anyway) and I liked each one.....however, I LOVED this story about Megan and Will. There is something about Will's massive size and his massive heart together that made me love him, rough and soft all at the same time. In all the books of the With Me In Seattle series, this is one of my favorites!
I will be reading this book again!

I sure do love those Montgomery boys. This was Will and Meg's story, and after reading I think Will might be my new favorite brother. I really liked so much about him. When he made mistakes he owned up to them. He was honest about his feelings for Meg from the very beginning, and even when she wasn't able to open up to him and say "I love you" back, he continued to show and tell her how much her cared. When they were together I couldn't stop smiling, especially in the beginning when Meg was so hesitant about giving him a chance.

I found myself wanting to give Meg a big hug several times while reading this book. She had such a difficult childhood, and I completely understood why she was so slow to trust and love, especially after Leo's departure. She still felt so abandoned and betrayed by him and it clearly affected her relationship with Will. Meg came across to me as a wonderful and nurturing person. She gave so much of herself to her job, and I really wanted her to find the love and happiness that she deserved.

Proby always manages to make me laugh with her writing, and the bachelorette party car ride home had me in stitches. That is definitely a scene I am going to go back to whenever I need a good laugh. The great thing about this series is that we are also able to get glimpses of the couples from previous books. I adore the Montgomery family, and I can't wait for more love and laughs from them.
