The Private Club Day Two by J. S. Cooper, Helen Cooper was just released. After reading The Private Club Three Days, part 1 in the The Private Club series I was anxious to see how the next installment played out. It ended on a cliffhanger.
Meg Riley has found herself trapped, by choice, in a world of secrets, mystery, and possibly death by remaining at training for The Private Club.
She has no clue what the club is. She suspects it could be a lot worse than she possibly imagined. She suspects it’s activities are illegal. The Club may be committing the most horrific crimes known to mankind. She suspects that there may be more than prostitution going on. The Club may be involved in human trafficking. At the same time, she is attracted to the club owner, Greyson Twining. No only is Greyson a mysterious about the club, he is mysterious about himself. One moment he seems like the Devil himself and the next moment he seems to a somewhat ordinary man with powerful ambitions. He claims women are for sex only but then contradicts himself when he is tender with Meg. She doesn’t want to be attracted to Greyson but recognizes that she has no choice in her attraction. The only thing she can do is try to control her attraction, keep her inner bearings, and not expect more than Greyson is willing to give her. She needs to keep her mind clear and her feelings hidden. I am so in love with this series so far. The authors are doing such a great job of keeping me on my seat while I devour it!
First we get hit with who is in the room with Meg. The Private Club 1 ended with that little cliffy and thankfully we don't have to wait too far into book 2 for that answer. Now obviously that doesn't mean that more questions don't arise because I mean thats what these authors are doing with these series. They are trying to kill me with questions and answers I need.
We get more of Greyson and Meg and holy cow do they have some serious chemistry. Neither of them can help the pull towards each other that they have, they can't explain it either.
Some ideas get placed into Megs head that paint a very dirty picture of Greyson yet her boy and mind apparently are having trouble agreeing. Because even if he is who he might be, her body defies her at every turn. (Which is good because boy are they hot together!)
Turns out our old friend Brandon is coming to the club. What kind of role will he have to play? Lot of questions and a small cliffy with this book but it is SOOOO good and worth my mind getting messed up for days! LOVED IT!

**APPLAUSE!!! They did it again and I am satisfied. Very satisfied.
I looooooove where the story is going and I appreciate how these amazing authors keeps you want to read more and more chapter after chapter. I felt it in book 1 but with this installment it is even better. This short series is simply enticing and rousing. It has the right amount of thrill, mystery and hotness and given that it is a short series, it is amazing. You think that you only get this thrill and excitement in long series or novels but no, you will also get it by reading this story. I know. It is short but worth reading.
Book 2 ended in a freakin cliffhanger and I expected that. Nonetheless, it was a freakin good read. I sure want more and I hope book 3 is longer than the last 2 books. I wanna know what Greyson Twining's deal is. He is such an enigma and the bad boy that you know you want to stay away from but can't help to know more about him. And it is such an adrenaline rush to know guys like him. Dangerous, mysterious and bad. Very bad. But he is also the type most girls dream of changing into something better. The Nightingale Syndrome, that's what they call it. In reality, it is stupid and absurd but at least for this story, I am hoping Meg is that woman who will break Greyson's wall and be his Kryptonite. So we'll see... There was a line right after Chapter 5 started that I will want Greyson to take back. I want him to eat what he said and I want him to realize that he was wrong. I am so excited!!! I cannot wait to read a scene where he realizes it all and it will leave him dumbstruck. HA!Read more ›

Meg is in it up to her eyeballs! So much mystery and intrigue that she just wants to find out what really happens at the Private Club and beyond. So she's stirring the pot and that puts her in the spotlight. There is so much going on behind the scenes that she is trying, so far unsuccessfully, to piece together and now doesn't know if the has what it takes to continue on. Then there is Greyson. Sigh! He puzzles her. She's prided herself on being able to read people and is being warned about him at every turn. She just doesn't get the vibe from him that the warnings are telling her to heed. Maybe because he's so freakin hot and she really gets discombobulated around him. When girls are going to be moved and another disappears, she's worried that she's next! Can't wait to find out what happens next! The next book is gonna be a doozy!
