Kristen is the author of the Amazon and USA Today bestselling With Me In Seattle series. She has a passion for a good love story and strong characters who love humor and have a strong sense of loyalty and family. Her men are the alpha type; fiercely protective and a bit bossy, and her ladies are fun, strong, and not afraid to stand up for themselves. Kristen spends her days with her muse in the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys coffee, chocolate and sunshine. And naps.

If you have been following along with the series then you know that Leo Nash is the lead singer of the band Nash... He is also Meg's (Play With Me) brother. Well they aren't really brother and sister but Leo is the closest thing that Meg had to a brother growing up. Both overcoming crappy pasts Leo and Meg have both grown into respectable yet hesitant adults.
Being a big time ROCK STAR people expect things from Leo... His life is a challenge to navigate and he has never invested his time in any woman, groupies only want one thing... That is until Samantha Williams (Luke's sister from Come Away With Me) walks into Leo's life... She has the potential to change everything he thought he wanted and needed in life...
Samantha Williams has lead a privileged life, but she has also lived under a microscope due to her famous brother Luke Williams. We have learned a little about her in the past that she hadn't had it easy and the people would use her to get close to her brother. Sam is extremely standoffish at times and not very approachable. If you remember she didn't take well to Natalie in the first book of this series. Under that harsh exterior lies a beautiful caring and loving woman the problem is breaking the walls down that she has built around her and her heart.
I cannot tell you how much I love this book. It is just another SMASH HIT in the series... Kristen never ceases to amaze me with her depth of characters and her creativity. Leo and Sam are so perfect for each other... You will find yourself VERY VERY VERY frustrated with both of them at times an then you turn to the next chapter or even next page and start swooning all over again! This is the gift of Kristen's writing.Read more ›

Another great With Me In Seattle book. Kristen had out done herself once again. Is it weird that I want to move to Seattle in hopes of running into any of the members of the Williams or Montgomery clan. This by far is my favorite book by Kristen Proby. She has developed characters that are so easy to love. Plus Leo is a rock star. It doesn't get much better than that. In all seriousness I loved Leo and Sam's story it was quite beautiful.
Sam and Leo's story begins at the end of Play With Me. Leo and Meg are as close as any brother and sister could possibly be. When they reconnect he obviously is around and starts spending time with the Montgomery family. He meets Sam and at first teases her. She is very cold and sarcastic to him. He likes her a lot and wants to get close to her. She is a tough egg to crack. He ends up joining her for her morning runs and one thing leads to another. You can guess what happens next, and well it's pretty darn steamy.
I always felt Sam was very brash. She was very guarded in the previous books. We learn more of her back story to why she is the way she is. Being in the spotlight is the last thing she wants or needs. Leo understands that she is apprehensive. Sam has a hard time giving her whole self over to Leo. He is very patient and kind with her. He knows what she needs and has no problem giving it to her. Doesn't hurt that he is irresistible. Sam has her own secrets she wants to hide from the people she loves the most. She is so selfless not wanting to burden her family. She has been through a lot. She just wants to be by herself, and fortunately Leo wants the exact opposite. They both seem to grow through the book, accepting and loving one anothers faults. They are both so well deserving of each other.Read more ›

Everyone has one book from an author that is their least favorite. This is mine for Kristen. The story felt rushed, dialogue felt forced and lacked flow. It felt thrown together for me, like she should have made us wait longer for it instead of meeting the deadlines. I loved Leo and Sam as characters. Sam was strong and independent and Leo was really sweet... But I could have done without "soaked" panties.. And the fact that she could climax within 10 seconds of him touching her isn't fathomable to me. Its most likely impossible. And the scene where he angrily screws her in the kitchen in the beginning portion of the book? Honestly, if a guy did that to me I would never speak to him again. I don't care how hot he was. I still absolutely love the series and can't wait for the rest, but this isn't my fav.

For starters, Samantha was never 1 of my favs in this series. It was hard for me to like her when she was previously so nasty. Just seemed like more of the same storyline - 2 people who aren't perfect but become perfect for each other & have a lot of sex. I will probably get next book too but I am not as nearly excited about it. When does Matt get any action? I will look forward to that story. So far, Will & Megan are my favorite book.

The first book I read in this series was about Luke, I couldn't finish it. I tried out Play with Me and actually loved both characters, and the story. I am writing this review at only 60% and won't finish. I actually can not stand the heroine. I like the hero Leo but his counterpart is annoying and snotty and not likable to me. There is such a thing as too much on the erotic scenes, give me something to like about them as a couple, Anyway, I wanted to like this book, and I know it's easy to criticize, Iam just disappointed is all.
