About the Author

Janet Chapman is the author of twenty contemporary and paranormal romance novels, all set in the state of Maine, where she lives with her husband, surrounded by wildlife. Best known for her magical Highlander series (a family saga of twelfth-century warriors rebuilding their clans in modern-day Maine), Janet also has several contemporary series set on the coast and in the mountains. With more than three million books printed in six languages, her stories regularly appear on the New York Times and the USA Today bestseller lists.

When she’s not writing, Janet and her husband are camping, hunting, fishing, and generally rubbing elbows with nature.

I loved this book last year when it came out! I still love it, though I am not certain why it was billed as a new release this Fall. I, of course, being a huge Janet Chapman fan, ordered it again, not realizing it sounded sort of familiar. When it arrived on Tuesday, it suddenly became clear that perhaps it was a Read Pink re-release for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. If not, it is really okay, and I will probably re-read it rather than send it back.

One of my very favorite authors. She writes very entertaining stories, which are written in a series format, but can be read, and understood, if reading as a single book. There is a small amount of time-travel connection in every story. Her characters are always interesting and quite often humorous. I highly recommend Janet Chapman if you enjoy a good romance.
