This book was the perfect ending to the story first started in 'Silence'....it you're returning up nicely and finished off their story. It made my heart happy. Now I'm looking forward to Jasper's story...it should be very interesting! ;)

This book was a touch of reality in an area that many people do not deal with. The author handled it well and the emotion was real and touching. There were some aspects that could have been left out (the cursing) but overall the book was a good read. It was a little off that Oakley was able to be sexually active so early given the circumstances, but i guess the fact that Cole was her friend and having built many years of trust and loyalty counted for something. I've read both books in order and would recommend them.

Seriously I freaking love Jasper dude is funny as hell. Seriously Jasper need his own story lol. I love Cole he is the perfect hero/ boyfriend Oakley is a very brave woman it's incredible how she survive all those years with pain living with that monster. The story was so sad I cried reading it very touchy and painful to read; especially during the trial it will mess up your mind for days. But it was worth it to see Oakley happy in the end.

I thought the plot was interesting. A young woman dealing as best as she can with a horrible hand dealt her. However, this book needs some serious editing. It is almost as if the author typed everything as she thought it, and never had anyone check it for grammar, story line consistency etc.

Apart from the fact that this girl had to go to court to testify against her own father, the story surrounding this failed to evoke much sympathy for her plight. Everyone around her seemed to sing to her tune all the time, even her younger brother, who she was continually criticising and poking fun at, she then expected him to be there for her and support her without question. Overall a pretty uninspiring tale with a predictable ending.
