So this book starts where the second book has ended...
Bianca is healing and she is spending time away from James. The tabloids are printing not so nice things and she is getting a glimpse of James' world and really needs to consider if it is for her. She forgives him and gives him another chance.
You get a chance to see how much he wants her...
"I was desperate for you"
The book is hot...
Horse Riding Scenes...(Is that really possible ☺ ?) Playground Scenes....(Yum!!)
They are perfect for each other. James keeps reassuring her...that they were made to fit together.
"No one else can do this for you, Bianca. Don't ever even consider it. You were made for me."
This relationship isn't smooth sailing though...there are jealousy issues on both parts. It is hard for Bianca when everywhere she goes...she meets a girl that James has slept with...everyone in his life sees her as a gold digger at first. Then there is the issue with her father being out and about. James continues to try to reassure her that she is his only one...
"I was a slut once with my body, but I've never been a slut with my heart."
I was super excited when James asked for some type of commitment but I have to admit it was a little strong at times...he is working fast.
"Then live with me" he said softly. "Be with me. Swear you'll never leave me."
The book ended with something bad happening but nothing bad between James and Bianca...it looks like they are going to start book 3 strong in their relationship.
Side note: Is anyone else excited about what is happening in Stephen's life?? I so want him to have his own book!!

This picks up where the first story finished. After what happened between Bianca and James, she feels she can no longer trust his word. Combined with that is the attack that she has suffered, Bianca is not in a good place physically or emotionally. But as usual her BF Stephan is by her side, supportive as ever.
The second book in the trilogy is as intense and emotional as the first. I loved it. Bianca tries hard to regain her physical health as well as trying to regain her inner well being after James had severely disappointed her. But James is undaunted by the current situation between him and Bianca, and is not going to give up. I think that James might just be one of my favourite male leads. I just love all the sides to his character he is brilliantly written by the author. But that doesn't mean that the other characters or plot lag behind. They do not. An excellent read, loved the really hot love scenes. The BDSM parts of this story are so superior to those I have read recently in other similar stories. I believe the final book is due February 2013 I can hardly wait to find out what happens next.

I was a bit annoyed with Bianca's lack of seeing that James really cared and loved her even know he never said the words when her herself was unable to say them to him. The other thing that annoyed me is that her nightmare was played out again word for word when we already heard the story. I didn't think it necessary to replay it all 2 pages worth. There's a surprise in there towards the end - not really a good one but we won't know until book 3. Towards the end of the book Bianca was finally giving in a bit but still was uneasy about a future with James. I couldn't put the book down even with my little announces as I defiantly can't wait for the last book "Ground" to come out March 2013

Well, I wasn't a huge fan of the first book, but I got suckered in to buying this one because the first book got interesting at the end with Bianca's father coming back in the picture and shaking things up. The book ended on a cliffhanger and it's just to easy to click to buy the next one.
Unfortunately, I am half way through and nothing has happened in relation to the first book. It's all, literally, just sex scene after sex scene. It's getting a bit annoying at this point. Stephen isn't really in the book so far which is disappointing, and the whole father-murder excitement isn't happening. Maybe things will pick up but I am struggling through this book.
NOW, the one thing that inspired me to come on here to write this is some inappropriate sexual "things" that made me uncomfortable and I just need to give a heads up because the reviews are so overwhelming good for this book, I can't imagine people enjoy it. The kicker was a sex scene on a horse. Ok, they didn't involve the horse per say, but it was still on this poor horse. All I could think of was they are just going at it while this poor horse just sits there taking it. Um, any animal involvement I think is inappropriate and James planned it and had done it before which means they were using the horse to make sex interesting on purpose. Barf. I do not like that, and I haven't picked the book back up after that scene. I needed to take a step back and realize I am reading a really kinky, fetish inappropriate porno which isn't sitting well with me. I don't know...why anyone would think that's entertaining is beyond me. I grew up riding horses so maybe it doesn't sit well for that reason, but horses are intelligent and beautiful and not a place to screw on.Read more ›
