I definitely enjoyed jumping back into Jett & Brooke’s world in the first book of No Exceptions, but I absolutely LOVED the further pieces we got in The Lover’s Game. It takes place immediately following the cliffhanger we were left on in The Lover’s Secret and keeps us on the edge of our seat until the very end. However, I will say, my jaw was definitely on the floor when I finished this installment as well!

J.C. Reed, without a doubt, knows how to leave a reader chomping at the bits for more of her characters! I was so invested in such a short amount of time that it actually surprised me. Brooke’s character could so easily be that whiny girl we love to hate, but somehow, she’s written in an incredible way that you don’t dislike her. I actually developed a soft spot for her and was urging her bad behavior on. She so strongly desired her independence and had that will to just be okay that you actually begin to admire her. Jett was – AH! We don’t get a lot of him in this book because it really is Brooke’s story, but the little mysterious pieces we do get are perfection. We get to see this hard, controlling side – but surprisingly, a much softer side as well. It definitely added to the intrigue of his character and I can’t wait to get more. I want to know the answer to this giant mystery and it’s killing me to not have the answers!

Overall, this is one of those books that sucks you in and devours you for the period of time you’re reading it. I was so enthralled and never wanted to come up for air. It’s sexy and mysterious and will leave you panting for more. I love J.C. Reed’s writing abilities and will absolutely be on pins and needles until The Lover’s Promise!

#J.C. Reed is going to be the death of me!! ♥#
The Lover’s Game was one clusterf*#k of the word: C.O.M.P.L.I.C.A.T.E.D.
In here, we have lies, secrets, betrayal, steam, and one hell of a roller coaster of ups and downs!!
I’d be lying if I were to say that this book was easy to process because it wasn’t. You essentially have one person holding the deck of cards and one person trying to put the puzzle together.
It was maddening!! And yet satisfying!!
Great job J.C. Reed and damn you for giving me such heart palpating ache and happiness throughout!! Looking forward to The Lover’s Promise!!

Omg, I don't know how to describe this book, all I can say is it blew everything out of the water. I just couldn't keep up! In usual J C style we r thrust into a massive conspiracy and as a reader I didn't know which one to focus on! This book most definitely had me thinking and trying piece together the puzzle that is yet another cluster f**k in the life of Brooke Stewartt. Add sexy and suspense together and this is what this series is all about.

This one picks up right where the previous book left off with Brooke running away from the hotel she saw Jett and his ex kissing. She is truly heart broken. Forever changed. So what do you do when you cut ties with your hot rich boyfriend? Get a modeling job that may require you to be nude of course! I was all like "Go Brooke!" because she is doing something for herself. Yes she needs money and not just a minimum wage job either. Working with Grayson seems like a pretty good thing. She goes back to Sylvie's after and proceeds to finally break down. She has had a bad few days and needs to just let go. Things all change when she goes out with a group of models after a shoot. Given her condition drinking a lot is not an option but, after a few sips she feels completely drunk. The girls have found the mystery man to take her mind off Jett. The man at the club who is waiting. What Brooke doesn't know is that this night will change things forever.
Sylvie is once again a great friend to Brooke. She is concerned for her and is there for her through thick and thin. It is great to have a friend when there is so much going on in your life. I feel like she brought up a lot of good points for Brook to think about. Especially about her condition :) I'm trying to be spoiler free here! Anyway, I am curious to see what will happen with these two coming up since they appear to be room mates again!

Wow, that was really something that I did not expect! Jessica certainly did a great job throwing that surprise!,!!
This has to be one the most entertaining new series ( or should I say continuing events, issues, got cha's ) in a very long time. Jessica continues to keep the reader on their toes with the lives of Jett ( oh man what a alpha hunk) and Brooke, yet never loosing the hot chemestry that nearly sets the pages on fire between these two.
The mystery just keeps growing and getting more and more intense as each new developement unravels. once I began The Lover's Game I did not move from my sofa, I actually missed getting dinner and realized it when my alpha came to me and said "Hey babe, where's dinner?". I can honestly say that has not happened in years!! You go girl Jessica!, if you have not read J. c.Reeds books you are missing out on one fantastic journey. Well? What are you waiting for? Click it and read it!,
