I enjoyed all 3 of the stories very much...the first time I read them in "Bad Boys Ahoy". I bought this one (and this is completely my fault) without reading the reviews simply because I have enjoyed all of her historic settings and novels. It didn't occur to me that they would have re-named and re-packaged the same 3 stories. So disappointing. Sum it up...if you haven't read the first packaged trilogy, then you might just love this!!

I am a huge fan of Sylvia Day. I have about 10 of her books which I do read more than once. I just wish she would hurry up and bring out the next chapter of Gideon and Eva.

I have read and enjoyed this author's work before but was disappointed with this book. While the other books I read had interesting plot lines, in that area this book (particularly the first story) was lacking. Perhaps, it was due to the length of the stories. If what you are looking for is historical romance, I would suggest looking elsewhere. If you are looking for short stories full of sex with little plot development, then you may enjoy this book.

I should have know by the editorial reviews there was something not quite right here. Nowhere in the advertising of "Scandalous Liaisons" did anyone mention that this was originally "Boys Ahoy" with a new title and cover. I already read "Boys Ahoy" and as I read this book I thought I was suffering from a serious case of déjà vu!
I should ask for my money back for being duped into buying the same book twice!!
I don't know who to blame, the publisher, Ms. Day, Amazon....or maybe just myself for jumping on everything she writes like a starving women on a chocolate cake!
I'm only giving this 1 star because this is a rose of another name and color. The original three stories 10 STARS!!!
Sorry Sylvia. Love you anyway! Kat~

I love historical romances and especially when Sylvia Day writes them.... I liked that the book consisted of short stories and really enjoyed them all.

Sylvia Day is just amazing as a writer. To write about romance and sex from the 1800's and early 1900's is so different than today's romance/erotica novels. That doesn't deter from getting the point across. I fall in love with her characters no matter what time period they're from!
