Safe With Me is the 5th full-length novel in the With Me In Seattle Series. Many would think by the 5th book things are getting a bit stale and over worked. Well those people wouldn't be reading this series. Safe With Me is A-MAZE-ING from the Dedication to the Note from the Author and every word in between. I think it's a pivotal book in the series. It offers lots of family time, questions answered and oh yes CALEB AND BRYNNA.
Up until this point in the series everyone has faced their challenges and fallen in love with someone new outside of the tight group. Well leave it to Caleb and Brynna to take it up a notch. We've felt the sexual tension and the feelings building between these two since Brynna mysteriously returned home back in Under the Mistletoe. Fast forward a year and here's the thing... Brynna's not just any girl; she's family, she's someone who needs protecting and she's also a mom. And Caleb well he's got his own stuff going on. He prides himself on being extremely well disciplined. How long can you fight the inevitable and deny yourself the love you feel so deep it hurts? Maybe Caleb could resist one Vincent female but there is no way he can resist all three. The fact that the pair, each in their own right, have a special place within the family and friends circle makes the love they feel that much more special and scary.
This book checks all the boxes. There are so many special moments. Moments of laughter, frustration, love, joy and fear. Moments that will melt your heart and open your eyes. I love All the books in this series. I do recommend reading the series in order because you meet the characters from the other books and the story does flow from one to the next...but I promise there isn't a cliffhanger and you get a complete story for the two main characters of the current book. With each book I end it by saying "oh that one was my favorite in the series". In all the books the romance builds and the expected conflict moment doesn't drag and the book ends with enough time to recover from said drama so you can really feel the happy ending. I love love love the sexy moments in all the books...Kristen does a really great job in this department.
Again, I recommend reading the series in order (note To Be Released dates were noted from Goodreads website)...

I knew Kristen wouldn't disappoint, but man it just really does get better and better with each book. Brynna and Caleb had some crazy hot chemistry. This one made me cry more then I was prepared for and of course the family always has me laughing. I can't wait for the next one!!!!!

I really enjoy this series, but this book was not quite up to par. There were a lot of typos and grammatical issues. Also, the story seemed rushed and there were some weird reference to people that didn't match up and some time frame discrepancies. Brynna was a good heroine, and I liked her fierceness in attitude, love for Caleb and having a good time. Caleb was a man battling demons galore, and while I didn't like the choices he made while I was reading it, I understand why he needed to do it. I like his interactions with the girls and the dog.

Love this series and this one is my favorite book so far! I thought reading Leo and Sam's story was amazing but this one has replaced it in my opinion. Caleb, Brynna and her girls are great together and I want more from this family.

Kristen, you out did yourself with this book. I could tell this book was special from the beginning. Caleb and Brynna story is just amazing. I love the relationship between them and I could tell that Caleb love those girls. Maddie is too sweet and Josie just want to protect mommy. The emotions are so raw with Caleb fighting his demons. Brynna and Caleb are so prefect together and HEA was for them.
I love the bar scene in the book. Those girls are just crazy they say the craziest things. I love that you get to meet another montgomery. Dom seems to be just at sexy as the other man in this series. I cant for Tied to me...I love this book. Kristen, keep up the great work.

I've been waiting and waiting for the next book to come out, and was overjoyed when it finally did.
(I usually buy the paperbacks but since I couldn't wait this time, I bought the kindle version!)
But... I have to say, it was very disappointing. This book doesn't really feel like a whole, independent book,
but kind of like excerpts? The storyline was not as smooth but chunky.So anyone, who hasn't read the previous books would just say WTH?? I think the author should have put much more thoughts and effort into this one. I'm still giving it three stars (and so far I'm the only one among 90+ reviewers)because I get to re-visit my other favorite characters(Will, Meg, Jules Nate). **Spoiler*** There should have been much more action (come on, Caleb is an ex-SEAL, some more threats, danger out there for Brynn. She was being chased by drug mafia or something.) The plot lacks in a sense of urgency, the necessity of why everything happened the way it did etc.
I repeat, more thoughts should have been given to the plot!!! But I think the thing that most annoyed me was the sudden appearance of a half-brother, which made me think that with only one Montgomery brother left,the author came up with a dark skinned Montgomery male just to continue the successful 'With Me' series.
