I have been a fan since the very first Wicked Lovers Book came out and I have to say that this book does not disapoint. I have waited eagerly to read Thorpe's story and I thought I would be less than enthused with the book when I realized that his HEV was a menage, but I was wrong! The characters support and enhance each other in a way that could not be done if it was not a menage. I cried, then laughed, then sighed, and then repeated it all over again. At the risk of sounding kitschy this book had me from "hello". Ms. Black has done it again and this book will have readers eagerly waiting for the next and hoping that the Wicked Lovers Series never ends.

The Wicked Lovers Series by Shayla Black is one of the sexiest, most intense, and just plain brilliant series out there today. I always find myself counting down the days until Shayla gives us another one of her masterpieces. Not only does she create these magnificent characters and thrilling story lines, but she pulls you in with so much depth and emotion that you can't help but get attached. There is just something about this author's way with words, both crazy sexy and ridiculously emotional, that will have you squirming in your seat, craving and begging for more.
I think the main reason why I loved Theirs to Cherish so much was the fact that this was supposed to be my man Thorpe's happy ending. Mitchell Thorpe, owner of Dominion, was introduced to us in previous Wicked Lover books. He was the hard ***, intense Dom who never took any ***t from no one. His word was law in Dominion, and ***n did he just hit all the right buttons for me. He was always a mystery. A mystery that always had you thinking in the back of your mind, "what is his deal?" Thorpe was always the man in the background, a gorgeous man who was unreachable, unattached, and always in control. A past relationship killed his spirit, and now he doesn't believe he is good enough, tender enough to care for the one woman that he's wanted by his side since the first time he laid eyes on her.

Sean Kirkpatrick, the newest Dom in town, has his sights set on the sub that Thorpe has sworn to protect. He's collared her, made her his, but there is more to him. He is a mystery himself. Theirs to Cherish, the latest in Shayla Black's Wicked Lovers series is a hot tale of lust, love, and ménage. Callie is between a rock and a hard place. She's been on the run from the law for ten years, suspected of the murder of her sister and father. She's managed to stay a step ahead of police - and assassins - who want something from her. What that is, she has no idea. She's been alone. She hasn't allowed herself to feel - until she found sanctuary at Dominion. The BDSM club owned by Mitchell Thorpe. She's obsessed with the Dom, who has used her as a submissive in his demonstrations but those are the only sexual connections the two have. Despite the fact that Callie loves Thorpe. For his part Thorpe won't let himself admit to loving any woman. Not after the bitter disappointment of his past. So he indulges his dark kinky passions in his club with willing volunteers with whom he makes no emotional connections.
But his emotions are pretty clear when Sean Kirkpatrick seduces Callie with his gentle form of domination. When she begs him for sex, he gives her what she wants, but his declaration sends her running. Again.
The BDSM community rises up to aid the lovers. Sean and Thorpe have to find Callie before it's too late. Each has their own tortured past to overcome. Each must open their eyes and their hearts if they want to hold onto their love.
Black's novel is a wonderful juxtaposition. Thorpe is rough, hard, and Sean is a softer dom. Together they fulfill Callie's every desire. Over the last few months I have fallen in love with the naughty tales of Shayla Black's Wicked Lovers series. The anticipation that I had going into the reading of Thiers to Cherish was very high on my end. I fell in love with Thorpe from the first time I read about him. I know there was more to that Dom than what we knew. Yes Callie has recently peaked an more than am interest in me. And I will be honest Sean just seemed to be a bit to nice in is dominating.
Callie was nothing like I thought she would. From her battiness of the pervious book, I took her as a spoiled, get what she want kind of girl. I so had her pegged wrong. She is so strong in so many ways. Ending up at Dominion gave Callie a sense of home and safety, something she really need. Callie learned that it's ok to be in love with more than one person at a time. I think a lot of people in real life can relate with that. Callie is now by far my favorite heroine that I have read this year.
Sean, I wanted to hate in so many way but I ended up loving him too. He was despite and the rocked the foundation of the trust that had earned together. I will give Sean that his heart was in the right place and he did everything and beyond to show Callie what she meant to him.
Thorpe, oh my. My favorite of club Dominion. I believe that Thorpe loved Callie from the start but because of past issues, made him take a step back. Of the three, I believe that he had to overcome the most and be able to admit that he was truly in love. Thorpe’s past too, surprised me a little but once you get his story you will understand him more.
I say this with each book of the series, but they do get better and better. Theirs to Cherish has many secrets within it pages and of all the books this one was the most emotional for my heart.
