I guess my life as a writer started when I was five; I'd sit under the kitchen table with my box of multi-colored wax crayons (I miss those) and create picture books. Creative writing was always my favorite subject and I used any free time I had to sit down with a notepad.
Not much has changed, except that now I have developed vampirish habits: my writing "day" typically starts at 1am.
I'm an avid reader and a big fan of cookie ice cream. When working I have to disconnect the internet for fear of being endlessly distracted by websites such as www.icanhas.cheezburger.com.

The eagerly awaited A Shade of Vampire Book 5 is here, titled A Blaze Of Sun. I was thrilled to be asked to review an Arc copy of the book, yes I felt like I was holding gold dust.
We all know how amazingly stunning these books are and this one is no different. So just to clarify guys, I don't do spoilers and this book is THAT AMAZING I am having to sticky tape my mouth so I don't give it away, because you really, really, really need to READ this book.
Ok, so what can I tell you............. Derek and Sofia are as much in love as they always are and talking of getting married. Aiden is still held in the cells. Sofia is in charge of the catacombs, trying to organise the humans into helping protect the shade against the upcoming war. In the beginning Sofia and Derek don't spend a lot of time together, there's always something to keep busy with. There are forces working to separate Sofia and Derek - will they succeed? Then war breaks out - the shade is in danger...............
Ok guys I know, but I CANT tell you anymore than that I don't want to spoil it for you. Like the others A Blaze Of Sun had me on the edge of my seat I couldn't put it down, I think at one stage I maybe could of growled, for getting disturbed. The look alone could of turned someone into stone.
The danger with a series of books is that after the first or second your attention will start to fade or the series could of been wrapped up at 3, Bella Forrest is Super talented, this book is just as amazing as A Shade of Vampire.
**This Is your Warning - once you have the book in your possession, you need to come up with an excuse to lock your self away, take supplies with you- wine/coffee/snacks. Be prepared to lose a few hours. And most importantly a huge DO-NOT DISTURB sign.Read more ›

My name is Natasha and I'm a SHADDICT ! Lol I bought the first book when it got marked down to 99¢ thinking it would just be a way to pass time but that quickly turned into me buying and reading every book! I found myself reading a whole book after work and missing sleep because I just had to know what happened to Sofia and Derek! This is an amazing series and I've been suggesting it to all of my friends ! I follow the Author on Facebook and Bella is hilarious too! Lol I'm dying a little until the 6th book comes out and I reallllly hope these books are in the making for a few movies! I'll be in the front row of the premieres <3 <3 <3

A Blaze of Sun was yet another amazing addition to the Shade of Vampire series I love so much. The book began where the last one ended. Everyone was back at the Shade learning to deal with one another. Derek and Sofia were back together, ruling the Shade and desperately hoping to keep it protected and trying to find the cure.
Like I've said in other reviews for this series, it's so difficult to predict how it will all work out. I'm just as stunned and surprised as the characters are and the solutions are never obvious. The added points of view in each book give me a ton of perspective and I learn what motivates some of the other characters. I'm always hooked to the story, unable to put it down, and my head always reels with the various possibilities and outcomes!
I won't spoil any of the plot, but the woman we all met in A Shadow Of Light made a return and served to make things incredibly difficult between Derek and Sofia, as we all kind of figured she would. (But before anyone freaks out, have a little faith in Derek!) And of course, with the addition of Aiden and Ingrid at the Shade, things got pretty interesting. Kyle, the vampire who turned Ashley, got a viewpoint in A Blaze of Sun and I loved seeing Anna through his eyes. Anna began to work with Corrine to help her regain some of her former self and both Kyle and Ian protected her, even though there was some obvious tension between of the two of them. Sofia and Derek are my favorite couple, but I really enjoyed watching some other side plots and side romances in the series.
Some parts of A Blaze of Sun were absolutely agonizing to read. I think I read parts of the book screaming "NO NO NO! This can't be happening!" inside of my head. Not to worry, though, because I read other parts screaming "OMG! Omg!Read more ›
