Review

"Kiss Me Like This is an absolute must read for 2014 and had me obsessed until the very last page. Bella Andre is at her best, you'll laugh, cry, sigh, and yes probably swoon." ~ #1 NYT Bestselling Author Rachel Van Dyken

Sweet, sensual, funny and heartbreakingly sad at times, Kiss Me Like This is impossible to put down. ~ Ella (Goodreads)

Bella has another hit on her hands. This really was a wonderful book. The emotion and the roller coaster ride she took us on was great. I actually cried at a few parts. Anyone who has read Bella's Sullivan series will love this as well. ~ Jody (Goodreads)

Book Description

"KISS ME LIKE THIS is pure Bella Andre magic--sweet, sexy and enrapturing as her books always are--but this time around it's got a good, healthy slice of New Adult edge to it. Don't miss this one!" ~ Jasinda Wilder, NYT bestselling author

"Addictions come in all shapes and sizes, but nothing feels as indulgent and irresistible to me as a new Bella Andre book." ~ Natasha Is A Book Junkie Reviews

BOOK DESCRIPTION: From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Bella Andre, comes a New Adult contemporary series about The Morrisons!

Sean Morrison, one of six siblings and the top college baseball player in the country, is reeling from a heartbreakingly painful loss. Nothing seems to matter anymore...until the night Serena Britten unexpectedly ends up in his arms.

Serena is a world-famous model who has only ever wanted to be normal, even though her mother has always pushed her to become a superstar. Though it isn't easy to try to leave everyone and everything she knows behind, Serena is determined to enroll in college. More than anything, she wants to turn her love for books into a new career that she actually loves. Only, she never expected to meet someone like Sean on campus--or to be instantly consumed by their incredible chemistry and connection.

But when the pressures of her high-profile modeling career only get bigger and more demanding, will it make living a normal life as a college student--and falling in love with the hottest guy on campus--impossible?

Note for Sullivan fans: Serena made an appearance in Just To Be With You (Ian's story) and Smith Sullivan from Come A Little Bit Closer makes an appearance in KISS ME LIKE THIS, too!

KISS ME LIKE THIS is a full-length, standalone emotional and sexy New Adult contemporary romance novel of 400+ pages/90,000 words and is intended for readers 18+.

~ EXCERPT from KISS ME LIKE THIS, copyright 2014 Bella Andre ~

Serena was tall enough that his mouth was right in front of hers when she tilted up her face to look at him. She could feel her breath coming faster, and his heartbeat picking up against her hand where it rested over his chest.

"Maybe," Sean's gaze dropped from her eyes to her mouth, "you should kiss me."

Serena surprised them both by not hesitating at all before softly pressing her lips against his. Heat instantly enveloped her, both from his hands tightening on her waist and the sparks that crackled from just one sweet kiss.

"Again."

His request was deep and hungry. And it was her own hunger for him―and pure feminine instinct―that sent her hands up from his chest to twine around his neck. Her mouth had barely touched his again when his lips came crashing down onto hers.

His groan, her gasp, they were both one hundred percent pleasure at a kiss that was at once rough yet sweet, possessive yet gentle. And when he moved one hand from her waist to cradle her cheek, she felt warm and cherished as he slowly angled her jaw so that he could take the kiss deeper. His tongue slicked out across her lower lip, leaving a sensual path of fire in its wake. One that could only be quenched by another taste, and then when that wasn't enough, the slow slide of his tongue against hers.

She felt hot, desperate, achy. Wanted.

But, overwhelmed by it all―the heat and desire and confusion―she abruptly pulled away.

"Serena?" She was surprised to see that he looked as overwhelmed as she did. "Are you okay?"

She put her hand over her racing heart as if to try to slow it. "Every time you kiss me, I..."

She loved words, and hoped to make a career out of them, but right then she couldn't find any of the right ones to explain what his kisses did to her. Not when she was only just beginning to understand what a truly powerful force desire could be.

But he didn't seem to need her to finish her sentence as he said, "I know. When you kiss me, it's like that for me, too."

I was given an advanced copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. First let me say that I was honored to get to read this book. I can tell that this is going to be a great series for Bella Andre. I love family series, and this is one of those. The Morrisons are a group of brothers and sisters. This first book is about Sean Morrison. Sean is a baseball player at Stanford (right there is where you got me with Sean because i love baseball players). Serena is a famous model. Although when you read about her nothing is like what we are led to believe some models are like. She is very sweet and innocent. Sean has been a ladies man until he meets Serena. All bets are off after that first initial meeting. The sparks fly. I can tell that Sean's family are going to be lovable. The family dynamics are off the wall. I would like to give Serena's mom a kick in the butt. Bella lets this relationship build over a few weeks. They took the time to become friends before jumping into something deep. My stomach got butterflies when Sean and Serena were together. Bella did an excellent job of pulling the reader into the story and feeling like we were right there watching this love unfold. This is a sweet book with no stupid crap of drugs or other women/men. This is just about two college aged kids facing the difficulties of life together. Your heart will break with what Sean's family has been through, but you will see the love that got them through such tough times. There is no cliffhanger. Dual point of view. The epilogue introduces you to Drew, Sean's brother. His story is next. I am looking forward to starting a new journey with the Morrison clan.

Amazing! Brilliant! Bella Andre created a new family for us to fall in love with. The Morrisons are spectacular. They will touch your heart in a special way.
The characters of Sean and Serena are strong. They each face hard life lessons with strength and courage. This is a story of discovery. Discovering who you are, who you want to be, and following your dreams. Serena is a warm, caring, young lady. She wants a different life then the one her mom wants for her.
Sean and his family face a heartbreaking loss. He and Serena find a rare and special love during this difficult time. I adored this story. I can not wait for the rest of the Morrisons. Read it!

I received an ARC in return for an honest review:

Warning: some spoilers ahead, spoilerphobes look away!

Kiss Me Like This had me in tears from the start, the contrast to the first Sullivan books which for those who have yet to start Bella’s books, is another series that Bella had and is still writing in terms of the Morrison’s losing their mother whilst the Sullivan’s lost their father in the beginning too. The contrast and the difference made me tear up. I love Serena’s determination to follow her dreams, she is literally a role model for so many people who have been living other people’s dreams for so long and well in Serena’s case, living her mothers dreams rather than her own. Sean then enters Serena’s life and turns it upside down. He is the sweetest hero ever! The first time he meets her at the party and just has to take in her into his arms to kiss her, had me all gooey straightaway. They had an instant connection.

The dates and the time that Sean gives to Serena in order to make her feel comfortable with the pace of the relationship is perfect, me likey! We get to meet the Morrison’s at the same time as Serena and you get a feel for the dynamic which I love, I am thinking Drew’s book will be awesome!!!!!!!!

Sean clearly falls for Serena early on in the book but Serena in my eyes takes a bit longer but the way that she stood up to her mother had me cheering her on. She makes a move to live her own life.

He refuses to let her put herself down, they both have a connection with each other and the scene where they are reading Sean’s mother last letter to him had me in tears. There are some very emotional scenes in this book but Bella just makes me fall in love with yet another amazing hero!
