It was with great disappointment I read a few years ago that you were putting period to the Wings of the Night Series. My friends and I had read every novel of the series and looked forward to the next with eagerness having fallen in love with the characters and your style of writing. When I read a few months ago that you were writing the Twilight Guardians I was delighted. I even prepurchased the novel which Is something I seldom do. I received it early yesterday morning right on schedule and started reading immediately. It was gratifying to note that your vacation from these characters seems to have worked wonders. Congratulations!! This book was amazing. It was difficult to put down even to attend to the matters of daily life. I loved the premise, the new characters, the reintroduction of some old characters, the plot which was fast moving and exciting kept my attention throughout. There really aren't the words to convey to you how much I enjoyed is book without sounding too effusive and fake. Even so I want to use every superlative available however, suffice to say Brava, brava, brava!!!!! Thank you for breathing new life into Wings of the Night and calling it Twilight Guardians. I would recommend highly this novel to anyone but especially to fans of the Wings of the Night series. I will find it difficult to wait for the next in this new series.

Roxy, the oldest living Chosen has reconnected with her granddaughter. A woman she has been having dreams about her entire life. Roxy is the oldest surviving member of the Chosen and Charlie's grandmother. She has always known that she was special and that her female descendant - Charlie - would also be special. Roxy knows that Charlie has a grand destiny. Is Charlie destined to save the band of surviving vampires and protect members of the Chosen? Or will she bring about their destruction? You'll have to read this page turning novel and find out!!

She's back with the vampires and she's better than ever - I always think each new one is the best!! I have read the entire series. I have copies of all of them but 1 or 2.
This is not a book that you have to slog through the first couple chapters waiting for the action to keep going. It gets you right away and you'll not want to put it down. I thought I could finish it last night but I feel asleep around 2:15. I finished it today while doing laundry. The only bad thing about it is that it ends.
If you've read her previous vampire novels, you'll be familiar with many of the characters. If you never have read any of the series, you can start with any of them. While it is a series, each novel can be read as a stand-alone. You won't be disappointed!
