Love this series, look forward to the next !

She doesn’t have time for a relationship and honestly doesn’t think she can handle anything serious anyway.

The secondary characters are strong and dimensional as well.

REVIEW:
Awe, Marie does it again. I think Cameron & Vanessa are my favorite so far. I just love how they are so much a like yet different. That Cameron knows how to push Vanessa’s buttons and how she fights back. I loved how even when they fight they don’t really fight. Unless of course Vanessa is wrong then the fight is to the death. These two are just great.
And the side story with Pop & Bitsy is great too. And I loved the introduction to Mike & Del’s book. hehehe..... This one is going to be a fun ride, can’t wait to read.
If you have not started this series you should really think about it. These McCauley boys are hot and know what they are doing. Well most of the time :) And if I were you I would start at the beginning (you don’t have to but I would)

Vanessa and Cameron are the two know-it-alls of the series. They're the pair everyone likes to pick on the most. Cameron for his youth and put together lifestyle. Vanessa for her controlling ways and sometimes cold personality. I don't know why but I didn't see these two being a couple until it knocked me over the head. I remember thinking in the first book that Harte would pair Vanessa up with widowed brother Mike McCauley but everyone's match has been perfectly set up for them. With Vanessa and Cameron they have so many things in common. Great jobs, mutual interests in health and fitness and both have a life plan perfectly planned out to the last detail. With a friendship that has been smoldering into more for the last several books, they both get swept up in lust and the circumstances following their physical intensity puts a wrench in their plans.

Vanessa and Cameron made a great couple. The title of this book was brilliant because Ruining Mr. Perfect is exactly what Vanessa did. Her character wasn't one I envisioned myself feeling a connection to but she surprised me. Raised by cold indifferent parents who valued education and career over loving hugs and doting on their only child has made Vanessa into a detached woman afraid she won't be able to love. She loves her roommates and cares for them deeply but fears she won't be able to give herself away body and soul, the requirements needed to love somebody fully. That's the main thing I related to with Vanessa. Maybe a little bit of her OCD tendencies but mostly her approach to love and relationships. It surprised me how much I ended up liking her. Her previous dates and attempts at relationships have brought her guys who used her and treated her much like her parents did.

She’s going to eat him alive. I just knew it. She’d eat him for breakfast, chew him well, and have him digested before lunch time. But I so love Vanessa, she’s very intelligent, and I just adore smart women. She’s beautiful, not to mention she has a type A personality who is honest to a fault, doesn’t tolerate bulls*** and a perfectionist. She’s one of the promising accountants in a private firm and on her way on becoming a partner. But she is a lonely girl. It didn’t help her constantly thinking about the youngest McCauley brother, Cameron who was exactly just like her – smart, and attractive only that he couldn’t seem to do anything right when it comes to her.

If you love smart women, wait until you come across Cam: an intelligent and SENSITIVE man. Yep, you got it right. But it doesn’t make him a ninny. It makes him irresistible in my eyes. He likes Vanessa – way too much. She might not like to be wrong, and really, really stubborn just like him.

How can two people who are very much alike, and as stubborn as a mule can work things out? My sentiments exactly. But it had worked out. It wasn’t easy, they had things to consider, things to talk about, knowing both of them always wanted to be right, and Vanessa always wanting to be in control. It was great that they have friends and family surrounding them, ready to give them a sound smack just to get them into their senses. For super intelligent people, they can be a little stupid when it comes to love and relationship.

With a stubborn woman and a sensitive man, not to mention family dramas, teasing brothers, great friends and steamy scenes makes Ruining Mr. Perfect the perfect read for my stormy afternoon.

I just knew this was going to be so much fun and I wasn’t wrong.

Perfection is in the eye of the beholder as Vanessa and Cam insist that they're always right. Getting each other to admit defeat is both fun and sexy in RUINING MR. PERFECT.

Vanessa Campbell is as successful as she is beautiful, as smart as she is feisty. And she drives Cameron McCauley absolutely crazy! The youngest McCauley brother is smitten by the outwardly icy woman and can't get enough of her spitfire personality, even when they argue. Intelligent and fun, Cam is Vanessa's idea of the perfect guy, if only he wasn't the settling down, family type. The passionate kiss they shared months ago weighs heavily on them both but he makes her want things she doesn't have to give.

Cam is determined to make Vanessa see how brilliant they would be together, but his genius level smarts don't apply in matters of the heart. The two of them will have a lot of compromises to make if they're going to give dating a real shot. For two people who are always right, will either of them ever admit their mistakes?

RUINING MR. PERFECT is the third book in the McCauley Brothers series and features youngest brother Cameron and smarty pants ice queen Vanessa. I absolutely loved them together, even though there were times when I couldn't stand either of them. Vanessa in particular was such a "love to hate me" character, and her snarky attitude and haughty persona was so well written that I had to remind myself on occasion that she was actually a "good guy" in this book.

Cam's playful intelligence and lighthearted attitude was a great foil for Vanessa's cold demeanor and when he got her to loosen up and play with him, the results were outstanding!
