About the Author

About Rick Killingsworth

Rick visited the Magic Kingdom in 1971 for the first Christmas parade in their history. At nine years old, he was bitten by the Disney Bug. He can still remember the sights, the smells, and the sounds. It truly was magical. It would be twenty years before he could afford to take his young family back to “The World.” It was the vacation of a lifetime, and they have been fortunate to go hundreds of times since. His daughters, now grown, still tear up when they see the castle (as does he).

About Paula Brown

Paula is a travel writer who grew up in Western Massachusetts. She is a graduate of New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire. She now lives in Orlando, Florida with her husband and daughter. They can be found at Walt Disney World several times a week. Paula is also a science fiction fan who is obsessed with Star Wars. She is the author of Dream Wanderers; the second book in the series is due to be released soon.

I found this book to be one of the best written books on Walt Disney World I'd ever read. It's very well written and very readable. If you are planning on eating at WDW you need this book.

Eating at Disney World is a mystery, surrounded by a riddle, wrapped in an enigma. I go with the family 6 times a year and still can't figure it out. If you are not prepared with knowledge you'll overpay for mediocre fast service park food. This guide is a MUST, it will help you choose where to make your reservations and where to be for GOOD quick service food. Beyond that, just about every stop in the parks has a dish that is very good and some that are... not so good. Park food is not cheap but you can actually feel GOOD about what you are getting for the money if you use this book as a resource. This book pays for itself on your first stop for food.

This book is fantastic! A necessity for planning your dining experiences at Disney. With so many options at WDW, choosing dining can be overwhelming. Not only does this book detail every restaurant at Walt Disney World, it is full of great dining tips for making hard to get reservations and saving money!

That one friend you have who has been to Disney World a thousand times and knows everything about the do's, don'ts, ins, outs, and gives helpful advice while you're packing the car about what to do, when to do it, and how to have a more magical (and slightly more economical) time? That's this book when it comes to eating at 300 places in the Disney parks.

This is a must have for anyone planning a trip to Disney. It is well designed, well written, and easy to understand. It offers great tips that will not only get you in the places that you want to eat, but will save you money in the process. I am planning on purchasing the Kindle version as well. Great job. I look forward to future Disney endeavors from these two authors.
