Review

We love your travel guide the Next EXIT and never leave home without it. It is especially helpful for us during these times of high gas prices. It's indispensable for us during long vacation times. We have been using your book for 8 to 10 years and would not leave on a trip without it. C Miller --email

Love your publication. Would rather use the Next EXIT than GPS. Thank you. P. Carson --email

I love my Next EXIT & get a new one every year!! I wouldn't drive without it--we have a long Renegade Motor home and trailer. Next EXIT is a life saver for travel stops alone.! Thank you so much for this great book! W. Richardson --email

Very helpful guide for long road trips.

Great big help for us while traveling, knowing where rest stops were, eating places, gas stations, etc.

Pulling a 35' camper has its issues, not the least of which is getting into locations you wish never happened. I cannot imagine anyone towing a long trailer of any kind and not having this book. NOTE: It does help if your copilot understands the book and looks ahead otherwise you are better off pulling over to plan where you need fuel (diesel for me) food, or anything else. A real bargain if it only keeps you out of one nasty situation. I have owned three different years, make gifts of the old ones to people who never heard of them, bet they buy the latest edition shortly after!

I have an older edition of The Next Exit (2012 Edition) which is in spiral form and includes all the rest stops found on the interstates. I was wanting a new edition of the book and ordered this one and I was sad to find it in paper back form with thinner paper, no color on the pages and as far as I can tell, no indications where the rest stops are located on the interstates.
I must admit it took me a little while to get use to the 2012 version and how to read the way the book displayed the interstates going through the states, but once I got the hang of it, it was easy to follow. I am NOT liking at all how the newer version is divided simply by states and not the interstate from beginning to end. The newer version is hard to follow. The old statement, "If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it" holds true with this book. You had a good thing going so why did you try to "FIX" it. Now it is not usable and I will go back to my old 2012 edition. Not a happy purchaser.
The book came in in less than a week but it is not what I expected it to be.

This is the 3rd or 4th straight year that I've purchased the updated edition of this book. This book is that awesome. My wife and I love road trips and it's so nice to be able to plan ahead where to stop for supplies/gas/food. Basically, who hasn't gotten hungry and stopped at "the next exit" because there's one of those blue signs that list fast food and when you pass another exits a few miles north you see a place you'd rather have eaten at. This book fixes all of that!

This book lists every interstate exit and what is nearby. Gas stations, wal-mart, target, airports, chain restaurants (full-service and fast food), malls, etc....We live by this book when on a long road trip. You will too after you've tried it!

This book was recommended to us when we took a long driving trip! A friend let us borrow his for our trip and when we got back I purchased one for us. This book is very helpful when you want to find hotels, restaurants, etc when driving long distances and you don't want to plan ahead. I strongly recommend this book!

Those of you who have a large RV or one that uses diesel fuel will appreciate this book. RV accessible gas stations are highlighted so you know before hand what stations you can get into with relative ease. My primary use is for diesel fuel stations that are RV accessible. Many of the road signs say gas or fuel, but never mention whether or not they are RV accessible, and those back road gas stations are always questionable. Peace of mind is worth the few dollars you invest.

This book is a MUST have even for short trips. Need gas? Hungry? This book allows you to check what's off each exit so that you can best decide where to get off when you are traveling. We'll be traveling across country this summer and look forward to putting this book to good use.

I have the Exit Now 2010 which is excellent. I have used it extensively. EXIT NOW allows me to fully plan ahead and the info is very easy to read and the maps are large, in color, exit information very easy to read, road numbers are very easy to read. This book has helps me tremendously on all my trips. It is comprehensive. I ordered this Next Exit thinking it was from the same publisher or company and the same quality. I thought it was just an updated version of 2010. It is NOT. The print is so small, no, not small, teeny in the entire book that it's taxing and frustrating to attempt to use. Also, the so-called maps here and there are simply tiny like 3-4" squares up in a corner of a page. There are no maps in this publication at al, just black and white little squares. One cannot read the tiny print of cities on those little squares. This is the most disappointing publication. I feel it capitalized on the name of the superior EXIT NOW guide, and many like me thought it was of the same publisher. I am returning it. The only thing it would be good for would be to tear the pages out to start a fire. The print is as small or smaller than old Bible script. I can normally find something positive about anything but this book is junk. I am returning it. One cannot get any useful info and if you did try to read it you need an oversized magnifying glass. It is not organized at all. Amazon shouldn't even carry this book.
