This is a nice book, but didn't meet my expectations or hopes. Should have looked at an older copy before preordering this one. We are planning our first trip to WDW with our 3 and 4 year old (not the target age, I know) and I was hoping for more photos from the park to prepare them for the things they'll actually see. Using the internet will be more helpful in this case. This book is filled with lots of colorful clip art of disney characters and a few very dated photos (not super helpful IMO). Most of he photos were taken during a staged photo shoot and don't show the characters in a way that my kids will actually see them there. Plus, it's already out of date, with going to press before WDW announced a decent amount of changes recently. That's not the authors fault, but still frustrating as the buyer. My kids are still enjoying it a little, because we are all so excited about going soon- who wouldn't be??
Also,
I ordered the adult one for me, and it has more photos in it that are useful for my kids. I would just get that one if I had it to do over.

My kids are 14 and 17 and a little old for this book, but they have still enjoyed looking through it. The book is "supposed" to be for ages 7-14. It has tons of great pictures and tips of things to do. My kids have loved having this book
