I got this for my wife as a gift and she really liked it. We like to travel and this was purchased as an idea book. The nice images and descriptions invite us to pack our bags and head to the airport. Some of these are certainly more expensive options, but some are also places one could drive to - and that's part of the adventure.

I purchased this book from amazon after I was browsing in a local bookstore. The photography is amazing, and the captions are very detail oriented and chopped full of facts. I learned a lot from this book and it's also inspired me to add a few destinations to my bucket list. National Geographic never disappoints when they put out a book. Great for coffee tables or even waiting rooms in a workplace.
