This book covers all the museums, neighborhoods, restaurants, hotels, parks, sports and theaters in Washington. It gives you summaries of vetted landmarks and experiences. This book is totally worth the money! it not only has a HUGE amount of information for my upcoming trip, it also has a map of the city center, which usually is about $7 to $10 alone! I would recommend this book to others. Also, it gave me tourism websites that allowed me to receive a FREE tour guide and another map from that city's tourism board. Great information!

Great book for tourists and locals alike

This book has really outlined a great trip to DC. With the city being so overwhelming as a tourist, it helps you pinpoint exactly what to do and where to stay. There is an index which is something that other brands of travel books tend to lack, making it quick and easy to look for exactly what you want to find. As for locals, its nice to have on hand to give to guests that may visit to help them decide what they want to do, and who knows? You may find something that you've never seen or done yourself!
