Another solid guide from Fodor's. It pretty much covers everything you should need for your first or second trip to Paris. You won't find any secrets or unusual insider tips - but this is a reliable, usable guide. Fodor's doesn't seem to have budget restaurant listings (yes - there are still a few good, inexpensive meals to be had in Paris). Most of their listings would be splurges for me. Perhaps I'm just not quite their target socioeconomic demographic(?). There are other guidebook series (or apps) for that, though.
The Kindle version could have used a last go-through by an editor - there's a whole section of the Versailles chapter that is simply missing (already advised Fodor's - hoping for an update soon).
update:
The "Vocabulary" chapter in the Kindle edition is one page long hasn't a single French word in it. guessing that's also an editorial issue.
