Disney parks aren't cheap, but the fact that they are consistently among the top vacation destinations in the world -- and the fact that fanatics like me keep going back -- show that they are incredible places, and worth the occasional expense. They are packed with things to do, and (especially in the case of Walt Disney World) incredibly large and overwhelming, so you'll want to get the most out of your vacation dollar. That takes planning.

I cannot honestly say that PassPorter is the best Disney travel book out there. Why not? Because once I got my hands on a PassPorter, I didn't bother looking at any other travel books. There was no need -- PassPorter has everything. It's hard to compare other books when I haven't seen them.

I discovered PassPorter when planning my first trip to Walt Disney World with my boys over eleven years ago, and even now that I'm a Disney "pro," it's still a valuable resource for me. With its Walt Disney World guidebook in its 16th edition, PassPorter is a unique combination of trip planner, travel guide, organizer and journal.

It works wonderfully as a trip planner. Not only is PassPorter jam-packed with information about the Walt Disney World Resort's parks, hotels, and recreational opportunities, but it provides tips on travel times, weather, and budgeting, along with planning pages and worksheets. It's clear that the information comes from the collective experience of many seasoned travelers and can be fully trusted.

At the back of each guidebook is a set of "PassPockets," an exclusive feature which provides easy-reference, fill-in-the-blank pages for your travel details, as well as storage space for receipts, notes, tickets, and other keepsakes.

I wanted to love this book, but I didn't. To be fair I've been to Disney before and I've also purchased other Disney related travel books. I'm obsessed with reading up on tips and tricks and I purchase a new book every year. I decided I wanted to read something different this time around so I choose the PassPorter. Let me start by saying it's not a bad book in any sense of the word. I just feel like the information provided is very basic and one sided. There are other books out there that give me far more information and have helped determinded where I stay in the future, where I plan to eat and what I plan to do once I'm at the parks. One thing I give props for is the estimated time they tell you it takes to travel from point to point in the park. On our first trip I planned our days to the minute and that information would be really useful to someone going for their first time. I do like the idea of using it is a "scrapbook" and keeping all those papers and dining reservations in one area. Overall it's not a bad book, but not the one I'd recommend first when people ask.

The digital version was not updated to work on electronic displays. It looks like a bad photo copy. Content seems ok but if you really want to appreciate the value of this material, go with the hard copy.

I love the Passporter -- first, because they do a great job updating information, and second, they are great looking full color books with an awesome pocket section in the back....I use each pocket as a separate visit to WDW for park maps, tickets, paper mementos...I have a whole library of them stretching back for years in my Living Room and they are fun for family and friends to leaf through.

I bought them all. This one is the best. Experience level is that we have been to Disney World many times but not within the last 7 years. We know the layout, the resorts etc. We did not know about the new attractions. Special instructions are provided for the best places to watch fireworks/light shows. Reviews by all ages are provided. Gives you insight as to whether kids and adults will both enjoy in most cases. This book was THE most up to date with the fast pass plus info. NO other Disney book was as current. Birnbaums didn't even mention the new fast pass plus! Really?! It's a huge part of making your trip worthwhile and avoiding wasted time waiting in lines! This book is awesome. I did bring it on the trip but I didn't carry it around in the parks as suggested. I guess if I had a stroller to push I could store the book in there but at this time I barely carry my purse in the park. How can you ride roller coasters when you have to carry a bunch of stuff?! Oh yeah- get Memory Maker and you won't really need your camera. Just ask one of the billion photographers in the park to take your pic and then scan your magic band- wallah!

As a seasoned Disneyworld traveler, I can say this is THE trip book to buy, study and take along.
Favorite parts, by far, are the pockets for printed materials, ephemera and goodies picked up along the way - each sorted by day of the trip - one pocket for each day. Even longer trips will have a pocket!
Every detail of your trip is accounted for - even tracking days before you leave and your travel days. You'll have a record of everything and a place to put everything with this gem.
If you've got a question or curiosity about your trip - more than likely the answer is in these pages.
If you've got a desire to track or plan something about your trip - the means are here to do so.
Again, I've bought one for every Disney trip we've taken since they started making PassPorter.
