Excellent for the "independent minded" cruiser.Local travel information was accurate.Guide to the sights I would say more informative than a typical tour guide.yes the paper is thin but there is a lot of information in there.highly recommended. The cruise lines must hate him

Great, typical Rick Steve's information. The problem I have with this book is the very thin paper it is printed on since it is a very large book (over 1200 pages). I like to highlight and mark places of special interest. This paper is so thin a highlighter bleeds completely through as does most pens. I would gladly purchase two books dividing the Med instead of having one that I cannot mark the most important parts for my travel plans.
