About the Author
Theresa Argie, a.k.a "The Haunted Housewife," is an experienced paranormal investigator who has worked with some of the field's most well-respected experts. Theresa has been on several television shows, including "Paranormal Challenge" and "My Ghost Story." Eric Olsen is a leading journalist in the field of paranormal investigation. He is also a published author, media personality and respected blogger. Together, the two host the internet radio show, "America's Most Haunted."
More About the Author
Theresa Argie (the original Haunted Housewife) was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a wife, a mother, and ghost hunter who's focus is on the historical side of hauntings. She teamed up with para-historian Cathi "The Ghost Lady" Weber to form the dynamic "Haunted Housewives" duo. The Haunted Housewives have been featured extensively on radio and TV, including appearances on The Travel Channel, A&E, Biography, Syfy and NBC networks. Theresa's book, America's Most Haunted, was a collaboration with journalist and epic blogger Eric Olsen. Their work together as America's Most Haunted - the brand - includes a popular radio program, website, and a huge social media following.

Disclosure- The reason this doesn't come up as an "Amazon verified purchase" is because I bought my copy of this book from the Authors Theresa Argie and Eric Olsen at their book release party Sept 30th.
America's Most Haunted: The Secrets of Famous Paranormal Places is part history, part travel guide, part personal story and completely entertaining!!
Unlike like other haunted location books, this one does an excellent job of combining the history about the location along with documented evidence and personal experience by the authors and other paranormal investigators. Even though I have been to a number of the locations in the book and have investigated with Theresa, along with fellow "Haunted Housewife" Cathi Weber in most of them, I found this book to be truly informative. I enjoyed getting a virtual "haunted tour" around the locations and learning a bit more about the locations. It is a wealth of information both about the location and what haunts them. The book has exterior and some interior photos of each location in a photo gallery in the center section of the book. Reading about other investigators stories and experiences in these paranormal "Hot Spots" also made each location even more intriguing. America's Most Haunted is a nice, meaty book at 340 pages.
One thing I really like about this book is that the authors chose a variety of well known, sort of known and unknown locations from around the country. The book starts with #10 on the list-Willoughby Coal. Willoughby, Ohio a small suburb just east of Cleveland. A completely "unknown' haunted location to people out side of NE Ohio. I've been here a few times and I can tell you that there is a lot of paranormal activity in there.Read more ›

Each location is meticulously chronicled...which includes true-life experiences, as well as tour and lodging information. It is your all-in-one guidebook to America's Most Haunted.
The authors team-up to bring you a first-person tour of each of these well-known paranormal hotspots. Their experiences are combined with spine-tingling accounts, documented evidence and interviews with other paranormal investigators.
I recommend this book to all enthusiasts of the supernatural. Those readers, who believe they already know the stories behind these locations, should be ready for a few surprises.
