About the Author

Eliot Greenspan is a poet, journalist, musician, and travel writer who took his backpack the length of Mesoamerica before settling in Costa Rica in 1992. Since then, he has worked steadily as a travel writer, food critic, freelance journalist, translator, and personal travel consultant, while continuing his travels in the region. He has authored Frommer's Cuba, Frommer's Ecuador, Frommer's Guatemala, Costa Rica for Dummies and Costa Rica Day by Day. He resides in Costa Rica.

Arthur Still Is "The Man

I would only recommend this book for someone who is going to Costa Rica for a short trip. It does not give much detail about the country and Costa Rica has so much to offer. It is an Easy, Quick to Read, Light to Carry Guide. For someone going for a longer time I would suggest they read either: Costa Rica: The Complete Guide By: James Kaiser or Costa Rica: By: Nate Cavalieri, Adam Skolnick and Wendy Yanagihara.
