I bought this map as part of a crafty present I am giving to a loved one for Christmas. The map arrived in a hard cardboard tube three days after I ordered it. It is stunning and the lamination isn't too thick nor cheap. It is perfect for the project I am working on. The colors are bright and the map itself is surprisingly detailed.

I bought this for my 86 year old mother so she could follow my son who works for a trucking company and goes all over the USA... she loves to be able to follow where he is and where he is going. She uses the dry erase markers and can wipe it off when he is on his next trip... She doesn't got out a lot but is able to see the country she loves through my son!!! Thanks for a great map!!!!

We are homeschoolers, and I was looking for a nice looking, sturdy map for the wall. Last year's map was flimsy paper, and was destroyed by being pulled at the tacks in the corners within weeks. This map is sturdy and colorful, and is a focal point in our homeschool room. I love that I can write on it with dry erase markers and have it clean up so easily. I must admit that I passed on the thumbtacks this year, and attached it to the wall using Command Poster Strips. I highly recommend this map, and look forward to following it up with a matching world map in the future.
