The map is good, but pricey. The trails aren't detailed as much as I thought they would be, but you get an idea. It's more of a whole park map with trail indicators. It seems well protected and won't rip easily, which is nice when it's in the backpack. It only gets 4 stars because of the price.

All of the national geographic national park trail maps are great. They're the only ones I buy. If you're going to Zion, be sure to check out Bryce!

Hiking? Use this map at Zion National Park. This map is one of many in a series with trails marked on a topographic map that is an excellent resource for backpacking or even day-hiking.

Zion is oddly laid out and this map helped put things in place. I also used it to support off-trail trekking, though the map alone would have been inadequate. I wish there were more place name details, beyond what you can find on almost any park map.
