Just back from London, and loved this guide! We have been to London many times as a family, and this was our best trip ever. The book made the difference, as it was incredibly informative, yet written in a way that made every adventure more interesting. The recommendations were unusual places that were not loaded with tourists, which allowed us to feel more like locals. We will use Frommer's Easy Guides for all our future travel, and we highly recommend that others do as well.

This was the perfect book for planning our trip to London, it covered everything, especially stuff in our price range -- plus, it was actually fun to read! It made us laugh out loud more than once. Then, once we were in London, what I loved most about the book was -- I could take it everywhere with us and it was light & easily portable. I HIGHLY recommend these Frommers books.

We updated to this guide from our old Pauline Frommer's Guide to London - and I just checked - its writhed by the same person, Jason Cochrane. This guy is good. Maybe the only person who steers you away from the new changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace with ABBA blasting! I find the guide to be very trustworthy - and took us to some places that our cousins in London hadn't considered.

I have bought this book for my upcoming trip to London and enjoyed it very much. Not the usual go here go there litany, but a well thought out review of what to visit and what you should avoid. Clearly, the author has spent the extra time to go and visit each location. I have visited London several times and bought this book because it looked interesting and frankly mentions different and exciting places to go rather than usual run of the mill. The author has a great sense of humor too, so reading it keeps you smiling.
