Don't think Rubber Neckers is just for kids during family vacations. I own a business and a job required us to send four employees to a customer's site, 3 hours away. I left Rubber Neckers on the dashboard. I can't tell you the laughs and fun my employees had on this trip. It built comradery amongst them and they arrived at the job site eager to work efficiently so they could hurry back to the car. Now they want their children to play. It's addicting.

We found the game to be alot of fun. One caution however -- it does not scale down to the lower age children. I recommend for kids from 10 to 99!

I bought rubber neckers for a recent road trip from Chicago to Cleveland with my road trip hating husband and our easily bored, 7 year-old, twin daughters. We all loved this game - my kids were highly entertained by watching the reaction of other motorists while I was making "peace signs" to other motorists and trying to get them to respond in kind. My husband developed his own driving strategy as to how to get the attention of a trucker to get them to blow their horn and my kids can now spot a weathervane or a satellite dish from a quarter mile away at 65mph. The only complaint from my kids was driving home at night because it was too dark to play. Great road trip fun! So much more engaging than allowing the kids to watch DVDs. Without even realizing what was happening, my kids were suddenly paying attention to the sights and sounds surrounding them in the real world -- and loving it!

This is a great game to have for car trips (especially the long ones)! Plus, I've found that my kids (ages 4 & 6) are even learning new items... things they didn't know before, now they do. To make it simpler though, we just made it team game, instead of indiviually. And we don't keep score (so there are no hard feelings). We just have a great time finding things together!
For family fun in the car... buy this game! It's great!!

Rubberneckers is a great game to keep in the car for longer rides. The cards tell you to look for various things - types of signs, license plates, cars, businesses and restaurants, etc.. Wave at someone in another car and see if they wave back at you, see if you spot a police car that has pulled someone over. You score points based on what you find. Our nine- and eleven-year olds love it!

This game is sooo much fun. It makes a long trip much more manageable and is fun for the whole family. My kids are too young to keep score, so we usually set a goal of how many points we'd like to achieve and work as a team to get that amount before reaching our destination. Just a caution, this game is not great fun for those who easily get carsick.

I purchased this game in hopes of making a 4 hour car trip with 3 kids fun. It worked!!!!! It made the time go by much, much faster, while playing this I never heard "ARE WE THERE YET ?" We had 2 adults, and three kids, ages 15, 9 and 7 playing and we all had a good time. I highly recommend this game for traveling with children.

This game is good! Our kids are younger, but once the youngest could read, we found we could all play. We devised a more casual system of play: We deal out 5-6 cards and display on the dash. As anyone finds one of the items they collect the card and the points. Then another card is dealt to the dashboard. It makes for a leisurely game over the course of 10+ hours in the car. Person with the most points at the end of the trip wins.

The cards are compact and well constructed. They should last a long time.
