Well written book about the best young quarterback in the NFL. As great of a quarterback as he is, he's a better person and role model. There aren't many athletes I'd point out to my kids and say - "That is someone who acts the way a man should act", but Russell Wilson is one. This is a very good book about his road to the pinnacle of his profession - so far.

This book reads like a collection of reports and game summaries from his college and NFL career up to XLVIII. Sort of like a collection of newspaper articles about him. There was no apparent insider access or content from "behind the scenes", and no exclusive interview with Russell Wilson or any family or friends. This is a football book first and foremost. Any quotes appear to be from press conferences or interviews Russell Wilson gave in the course of regular NFL access and limited to football. A good collection of information for an unauthorized book about a subject whose story is only beginning.

Well written, informative and interesting book that gives a rounded view into RW as a person and athlete. Upshot? This book brings home the knowledge that the Seahawks and fans are lucky to have him here in Seattle. Thanks, Russell, for being who you are and thanks to Art Thiel for a great look into Russell's life.
