Juliet Gray is a native Floridian who writes about the Florida Keys for many national publications including Delta Sky magazine. Her writing career has taken her on many journeys including snorkeling around the islands of the Galapagos and on safari in South Africa. In addition to writing, Juliet also produces theater with Broadway Theater Project. Juliet writes from her home in Key West, Florida.
Juliet's writing and theatrical career has taken her to many spectacular places such as snorkeling around the islands of the Galapagos, exploring the wilds of South Africa and living in the urban jungle of New York City. She spent a year as a company member at the Burt Reynolds Theatre where she wrote and debuted her one-woman show, Where's Romeo?, which Mr. Reynolds helped to develop. Since then, Juliet's career highlights include: working with Ann Reinking to write and research a new musical and choreograph a benefit concert with Paul Newman, performing with the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre's improvisation company and producing theater in NYC with Back House Productions. Juliet continues to direct and produce theater and is a cofounder of The Performing Arts Project (performingartsproject.com). She also writes and edits for various publications and websites like Delta Sky and Four Seasons magazines from her home in the Florida Keys.
I had never been to the Keys. There is a lot to know about this funky, beautiful part of the world. I found places I never would have found using the ubiquitous maps and tourist guides abundant in the Keys. It would be easy to be trapped as a tourist without this book.

We traveled to Islamorada, FL this year and that is why I purchased this travel guide. The problem with it is that it does not handle each location in the Keys seperately but lumps all Keys together as in all restaurants in the Keys instead of all restaurants in Islamorada.

Gave this book to friends who had never been to the Keys before. They got a lot of info from it and said it was invaluable to their trip! Got one for myself. Highly recommend👍

This book covers a lot, including history, geography, wildlife, culture, destinations, logistics, and much more. For me, traveling to the Keys again soon and wanting to learn more not only about places but their context, and more about the Keys as an ecosystem, the book was a welcome find. Contains lots of specifics on places to visit depending on your interests and is organized nicely for that purpose.
