I am really disappointed in this travel guide. I usually love DK Eyewitness Travel Guides. They have beautiful pictures and interesting history details. However, other than the subway guide in the back of the book, there isn't much helpful information on how to travel to each location once you are actually in China. More specific destination info, especially for the major sites, would be a huge asset to this guide. Instead, I must turn to Fodor's or Lonely Planet on this one in search of better information.

Just got back from china and took this book along. Read it before traveling. Was accurate and helpful but concise on an immense nation and subject. would recommend studying before traveling especially be aware of the weather
