The Fodor's guide is well written and I was pleasantly surprised that it included a pull out laminated city map. I found the guide to be up to date and accurate. It was shipped well covered and one time.

We used this guide on a trip to Chicago in June. While it is generally very good, there are some things missing, like the incredible new italian food complex Eataly, in River North. I would suggest supplementing this guide with the current issue of Chicago Magazine.
